In June 2022, I had the honor and privilege of practicing with Hariom for about three weeks. It was a blessing that I met Hariom, because I cannot imagine having a better teacher or yoga experience during that time. Hariom has such a breadth of knowledge in the practice of yoga, and unlike most teachers in Rishikesh these days, he is understands and is able to explain the WHY behind all the asanas, breathing practices, and theory. Even further, he has such a kind heart and genuinely wants to help his students. I know that I can message or call him in the future and he'll give me his time to help me continue to grow. Finally, his family often spends time at the yogashala and I loved being around all of them -- including his wife, niece, nephews, and little ones. They all have such wonderful, beautiful energy that it was refreshing to be around. In summary, thanks to Hariom I left Rishikesh with a very strong yoga foundation that I will take with me and continue to practice. I hope to see Hariom for more training in the future, ready to take it to a more advanced level. Thank you Hariom for the time, attention, and love you gave me.
I had the opportunity to do my YTT with them and it has been one of my best experiences. I definitely recomend Hariom Yoga Shala and, for sure, I'll go back to Rishikesh to keep growing by their side. All the teachers are AMAZING! Best school! You just have to live it!

We attended a few drop in yoga classes at Hariom whilst in Rishikesh and had an amazing experience. The teachers are knowledgeable and friendly and love imparting their knowledge of yoga on to you. We also tried their meditation and breathing classes which were really informative and gave us a deeper understanding of how breath and meditation is used to support yoga practice. As two relative beginners the classes were extremely well taught/ explained and challenging without being too difficult. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone and I hope you enjoy your yoga experience with them as much as we have.
Came for one of the daily drop-in yoga sessions. We're beginners at yoga and the instructor was great at taking that into account. He was really friendly and helpful - he made it challenging for us but still within our ability levels and made sure we had the correct posture to do everything safely. We had a great time and would definitely do it again, thanks!
I have completed my TTC in November 2022 batch from hariom yogshala institute, and I got alot there what I was looking for. They have best faculty to teach yoga there.Not only I learned yoga there but also I recieved alot of care, some good friend, very nutritious food,very pious chanting of mantra along with harmonium and tabla music ( loved to hear when keshav/ juwari used to sing/play). Hariom was excellent while teaching allignment of yoga posture and storytelling for explaining the reason behind some especific yoga asana( like why to surrender). Ashutosh , the astanga teacher there , I think No one can fill his shoes in doing his job.Being a little pranayam person,I used to enjoy there pranayam class too. In short it was a wonerful experience there.Everyone has a unique style there to make u understand yoga and life better.Thanks to everyone
Went to Hariom Yogashala for a drop-in class while I was travelling in Rishikesh after reading the great reviews here. Class was excellent, with an extremely patient teacher who was able to work with a beginner student who hadn't stepped into a yoga class in the last 2 years. Focus on alignment and breathing and I have learnt tools that will enable a better learning experience for me and will assist in my future yoga journey. Highly recommended!
