Place is good but not allowed to enter the waters. There is very limited space to enjoy the view. It takes around 250 steep stairs to reach place. Ticket chanrges Rs50 per head and additional Rs30 for car parking. No food is available nearby

Have to climb down for about 15 minutes. There are stairs but it's steep. There's railings to hold. It's forbidden to enter the water but since we went in the summer they allow us to go down and enjoy. It was a great experience though a must for all nature lovers

I would suggest not to visit the falls. This was my second visit here. My first visit here was with my friends in the year 1998. That experience was something totally different from what I had to face this time. Firstly, during my first visit we friends went to the falls trekking. We just had a narrow track to walk on at that time, but it was still very comfortable and not steep. But, now they have made steps. And instead of making the steps a bit horizontal taking more area, the department has used their stupid mind and made the steps so vertically inclined making it impossible for aged senior citizens to visit the falls. I was here this time with my mother who's 76, and it was the biggest mistake of my life. They should mention somewhere that senior citizens and people who are not well should not come here. But, the steps are made so steep that, not even people who are fit can climb such steep steps. On top of that, they don't have any RO on the way down for drinking water, in case anyone is thirsty. And secondly, the one and most irritating thing is that they don't even allow anyone near the falls. Last time I visited, we had a swim in the pool of water under the falls. So, I would never suggest anyone to come here to waste time and money. Rather there are many other places in Mangalore to visit if you are a tourist and looking for enjoyment.

Steps are steep but falls are amazing... 4 wheelers can reach till the entrance..... After that we need to climb down the stairs, which are steep... There are about 350 to 400 steps to reach the water falls..... We cannot go for a swim or enter the water here as it was the rainy season n water was more... Maybe they will allow to enter in summer as the water will be less....... It is not recommended for elderly and people with leg or knee issues.....

It's beautiful. The only problem is you are not allowed to get into water. There are about 300 steps to climb down and back up. Well maintained. Please avoid if you have small kids, elderly people with you. Even if you miss this one, you will not regret taking this route due to the magnificent scenery on both sides. This place is maintained by the forest department. The entry fee is 50/-. And has a parking charge as well.
