Preety good college, for engineering specialist for chemical engineering on WB , As like other private engg. cllg in West Bengal this college is also under MAKAUT, and yea it's not soo bad college the major cons. Of this college is ragging and it's location, Cause it's situated in Haldia , and there will be problems like availability and exposure to a big city , nd if we let it aside, the college authority is not preety much interest in the fact of ragging, -- so if you want to do something you have to is calling the the cllg helpline no. or UGC helpline no. That's what it is....,.

Nice college.The environment and the structure of the college is just awesome...And the teachers and staff and non staff members are so friendly with students and other persons

Awesome ambience and huge campus, every office staffs, security men all are kind and helpful. Separate football ground, gymnasium and yoga centre, basketball court and ample space is there for just to roam around. Beautifully decorated garden and nice architecture of the building, hostels are inside the campus....really loved this place, heading forward to cherish my memorable 2years of my life

Haldia Institute of Technology, betterly known as HIT Haldia is an autonomous self-financed private engineering institute in West Benga l, India, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). It is an institution maintained and financed by ICARE (Indian Center for Advancement of Research and Education, Haldia, a non-profit making voluntary organization. It is among one of the oldest technological institutes in West Bengal.

It's definitely the largest campus in West Bengal as a private autunomous institution for many courses. If you want to good packages you have to do hardcore programming and make various projects to sit for off campus placement with a better resume on your side! The hospital is one of the good super speciality hospital and it having good nature, clean and germ free society. It having very modified and modern flower garden .Oh my god...what a view.. it's beautiful.i can't even explain how beautiful and appropriate it is. A magical place it is . See through the attachment you will more astonished by it.. just visit the place you can get the feel of peace here .No one can stop you finding the peace .you will never be the part of the place if you don't come here .. please visit and share and comment on my review. Being a part of this institute was something that I will never forget. One of the west bengal's Private engineering college under ICARE. I was in 2008-12 chemical engineering batch. This college has a great infrastructure compared to other colleges in WB. Can be reached from Ranichak by auto or from Haldia local station by auto. The college has its own hostel facility to accommodate the students who are coming from outside. I miss HIT.
