Hakka Please located at G.T. Road Chandannagar is one of the good chinese outlets in the Chandannagar area. We went there during the Jagaddhatri Puja this year late midnight at 1:45am. The restaurant was almost occupied. Interiors are okayish but needs well cleanup especially the basin portion and washroom. Crowd is decent here and family friendly. Staffs were prompt and courteous as well. Coming to the menu, they have both Chinese and Indian options out of which we preferred Chinese. Quality was quite good with quantity being edge to the mark. Prices here are moderate with variety of food options available. Overall a subtle experience with good food even at late midnight. Recommended to try out from here if you are willing to have Chinese food at Chandannagar !!
Ordered one plate Black pepper fish, one sweet and sour chicken and one mixed noodles ...waited for about 35 minutes after giving the order....Black pepper fish arrived, but no sign of main course still.... Another 15 minutes waiting....lastly fed up and requested for parcel....Cant imagine , for such a small quantity food waiting time is 50 minutes'.....cant give more than 2star to this restaurant
Good portion but.. they consider themselves to be a Chinese restaurant but when we ordered Noodles they didn't have noodles item as we visited the place at lunch. Several items that are listed are not available at the time of ordering. Chicken Chatpata was okay but did not understand the concept of putting a frying papad on top of that. Taste was okay. Butter nun was good and also the tandoori chicken gravy was also good. 3 stars overall
Food was good. But the service is slow in case there is a crowd. They will get better eventually. All the items we ordered were tasty. Though they had forgotten one item and took another 30 mins to prepare it
