We went here on Saturday, just a weekend visit. The atmosphere is good and plenty of place but the Sikh people here got some rude attitude. As if people of other religions are ignorant. They could show some respect to other people and things can be conveyed in a polite manner.

Peaceful, quiet, majestic, elegant, spiritual: these all come to mind here. A must-visit for anyone in Bidar, plan to spend a few minutes or more just soaking in the peacefulness.
Guru Nanak Jhira Sahib is a Sikh historical shrine situated in Bidar, Karnataka. Gurdwara Nanak Jhira Sahib was built in the year 1948 and is dedicated to the first Sikh guru Guru Nanak. Bidar has a very long association with Sikhism as this is the home town of Bhai Sahib Singh, one of the Panj Pyare (five beloved ones), who offered to sacrifice their heads and were later baptised as the first members of the Khalsa. The Gurudwara is established in a nice valley, surrounded by laterite hills on three sides. The shrine comprises Darbar Sahib, Diwan Hall and Langar Hall. In the sukhaasan room, Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of Sikh is placed. There is a separate room called the Likhari Room, where donations are accepted and receipts are issued. Inside Gurudwara Nanak Jhira Sahib A beautiful Gurdwara has been constructed after the independence of India in 1948[1] by the side of the spring. The water from the spring is collected in a small Amrit Kund (a holy water tank) built opposite to the front stairs of the Gurudwara . It is believed that a holy dip is enough to cleanse the body as well as the soul. There is a free community kitchen (Guru Ka Langar) where free food is given to pilgrims 24 hours night and day. A Sikh museum has been built in the memory of Guru Tegh Bahadur, depicting the important events of Sikh history through pictures and paintings.
The Gurudwara is a must visit for people of all beliefs and religions. Makes one feel thankful and closer to the almighty. The premises are clean and organisers and volunteers work hard for maintaining the sanctity of the temple and the convenience of the pilgrims. We spent about an hour, paying our respects, introspecting and then having the yummy Prasadam.
One of Best Place to Visit in Bidar and It is a peaceful place. Leave all worries and go into the Gurudwara. You will feel the difference.
Devotional place for Sikhs.
I have seen people from punjab coming in lorries to visit the place.
Any one can enter into the place, no restriction.
Only thing you need to cover your head before with cloth or turban to enter into the Gurudwara.
Bad experience was, we took the AC room to rest, but ACs are not in working condition and they have charged the complete AC charges even they are not working.
Place is neat and clean, staff and people are friendly.
