Gupteswar Mahadev - Hindu temple in Udaipur - Udaipur, India

We visited on Sunday for our morning trek. Trek is fine. Took us approx 10-15 min to get on the top. The cave inside is mesmerising and must visit. This is called Amarnath of Udaipur. Inside cave the temp was low. The other way led to some village called eklingpura and was a beautiful and raw trail: we had our lemon tea there and the vibes were unforgettable.

Very cool mandir in a cave, but to reach the mandir u need to climb the mountain through the path..

This is an amazing, beautiful temple of Lord Shiva. This temple is located in the center of a mountain. One has to reach at the top of the mountain via cemented path or the trekking path which is also there for adventure loving people. One can enjoy the chilled breeze as they go upward towards the temple premises. People enjoy climbing this mountain they come with their families and enjoy the trekking usually on holidays. Then once reached the top you need to go inside the heart of the mountain which is the best part of visiting this temple. You will find bats right above your head, but there is nothing to fear about it they don't harm people and then you reach to see the beautiful, mesmerizing statue of LORD SHIVA. People go and find peace inside the mountain and get the positive energy from the almighty LORD SHIVA. Also, you can enjoy the unforgettable view of UDAIPUR, which I guarantee you will never forget if you visit this place specially in Rainy season.

It named gupteshwar mahadev temple but it also called amarnaath of udaipur this temple so interesting and also full with positive vibes of lord shiv. it is also like a adventure because the temple is on the hill.and the most beautiful thing of the temple is the temple is inside the upper part of hill.and outside a beautiful scene of udaipur city is seen here.

Great place for morning or evening hike The climbing is also not difficult as there are ramps and railings. MUST VISIT!

Just 1km nearby from geetanjali road, its a wonderful place to visit in "Shravan Mahina", Lord Shiva Temple in a Cave....This temple is located high on a mountain so one has to climb to visit main temple here. Its amazing to visit when there is some rain....
