The place is quite comfortable to stay with family, rooms are clean and spacious. The host is very friendly, they offered us homemade tea and suggested nearby places to visit and good food joints. The only issue is there is just one washroom in 3 bedroom accommodation.

This cottage is very good for families. The owner stays on main floor and upper floor is for guests. The owner Mr. Shah and his wife Shah Bhabi are very kind and helpful. They allowed me to use their own kitchen for baby food with all the utensils and fixtures. Highly recommend this for family stay. Rooms are very spacious, neat and clean.

The cottage place is awesome with natural freshness surrounding by many plants and its like a home. I enjoyed my 3 days stay without any tension and the owner was so cooperative and guided to me very well during whole alibaug trip. Thank you, Pravin Shende

This cottage is in the heart of city and easily accessible to main market Therefore you can enjoy evening and night life after you finished your day plan of sightseeing. This place is very close to the best hotels in Alibag and market where you can enjoy your shopping and other activities.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gulmohar Cottages, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. This Cottage truly exceeded all my expectations and made my trip truly memorable. The cottage owners were friendly and attentive. They quickly assisted with our requests, and their local knowledge helped us plan our day trips around Alibaug. The owners were gracious and made us feel welcome. The place is good with amazing nature surrounding. The owner is helpful and friendly. The property has seperate entrance for rooms. Rooms were neat and clean. Bedding, toiletries, hot kettle with tea bags, sugar, coffee & milk powder sachets were provided. Which was appreciated. Hot water, ac, free wifi were additional advantages. Everything was good except the tea cups were chipped and drinking water was bitter in taste and the odour in bathroom was not so pleasant. So if they can improve on that, it will be amazing as compared to the places we visit during our travel. All places are nearby and accessible. The place is quite and cool. I liked the round I took early morning in the courtyard. The chirping birds, dogs and trees were soothing to the soul. Would love to visit in the future, if plan to visit Alibag again.

If you are a genuine person or a family type person looking for home like feel with security for your loved ones, then this is one of the cottage till now I have been explored.Just because I am a family person I will recommend to every single person who is genuine and care for their family it's one of the genuine and respectable cottage and I would not recommend this cottage to those who make nusiance and disturbs others for them a hotel or any other place is better

I visited last week with my toddlers, and before visiting i confirmed with the owner 1000 times that I must get to cook for my kids are he agreed. Upon reaching day 1 was good but next day his wife got discharged from hospital and she created so mess and fought me with and abused me for using her kitchen, where I explained her that her husband already approved and hence I m cooking for my toddler but she was non stop cribbing and hence we immediately left this place. I won't suggest this place to anyone because of such behaviour. Cockroach were roaming all around the room and black big ants. BTW:i was cooking only khichdi and daal roti for my 2 yrs twins.
