Very nice room 3rd floor room. Clean and tidy with a kitchen space,ocean view and common balcony to relax on. Staff was very helpful, good in responding and always available. Can get autos easily from this location to visit places in the city.
We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at Grey Stone Shelter. The room and the bathroom were quite spacious and tidy. The host Ashwin and the caretaker were very helpful. Ashwin helped us with our Port Blair itinerary and also recommended places for lunch/dinner. We wanted to buy some souvenirs and he suggested a very good govt shop to us. The caretaker also helped us with transfers and hailed an auto for us. Their home cooked breakfast was very good and we loved their rooftop lounge area. The wifi wasn't working most of the time, but it wasn't a deal breaker for us.
We stayed for 4 nights at Grey Stone Shelters sea view room, its an amazing place. From booking process it was very smooth and Vimal replies immediately and guides you. The host Ashwin is very helpful and friendly. The place is very conveniently located as it is near from airport, Cellular jail, jetty point which saves alot of time. The rooms are very clean and the hospitality is very good, view is also nice as we can clearly see the Jail, North bay and NSCB Island from the room and lounge. Food was a 10/10. Ashwin gave us packed sandwiches while we were traveling, it was really very generous of him. Definitely a must visit and would recommend as a great stay option. While on our next trip we'll definitely stay here itself.
We stayed at Grey stone shelter for a total of 4 nights and its one of the best stays i have ever experienced. The rooms are comfortable with a nice sea view. We have got a kitchen too for quick meal. Ashwin and Vimal are the reason for this great hospitality. From our stay to planning our iteranary along with helping us with local places and travels, they have been really wonderful. I would totally recommend to book a stay with them while visiting portblair.
Pointwise, awesome experience of my first ever homestay- 1. The property is at awesome location. Sea, islands, lighthouse, beautiful scenary viewed from room and terrace. 2. The terrace is wide, open and spacious with clear view to sea, islands, lighthouse, beautiful scenary view. Rooms were spacious, ventilated, clean, hygiene 3. The property is very well maintained with all BRANDED FITMENTS. 4. The location of the property is near to many places like cellular jail, marine drive etc. 5. The market is very near. 6. The airport is 10 mins drive. 7. autos, car etc can easily be assessed from this property. 8. All the essential required clean utensils were in the kitchen. 9. Morning breakfast was delicious. 10 awesome hospitality from ashwinji and his team. 11. Ashwinji is very cheerful and helpful. He helped us for booking tickets for ferries, jetties etc and guided us for exploring beautiful andman and nicobar. HE IS VERY HONEST IN HIS DEALS. 12. Perfect apartment stay. Great rooms, super clean and spacious. Appliances work well and is close to Marina Park. Can see sea views from top floor.
