It is on the route from Shimla to Kufri. You can see it from the road side . No dedicated space nor dedicated parking . Very risky as everyone trying to get pics at the same time you have to watch for vehicles on the road and your footsteps. Some local stalls for snacks but no authorised space. It is better to avoid as it can be very risky
Absolutely waste of time to visit here if you're visiting Shimla. Not recommended at all. See the attached pics for yourself. One can find much better view of hills in few kms drive from Green Valley towards Kufri.

The Green valley is a beautiful mountain range, falling on the wa to Kufri from Shimla. The valley is God's gift to the beautiful city of Shimla. The greenery and beauty of the place are mesmerising and makes you forget everything else.
There is nothing special, just a view of mountains covered with forest.. This is the reason they called it green Valley view point. People stand with there binoculars, few more was there with some traditional dresses and camera. Best part for me was there is a trekking trail just beneath the road or the point. Some people was having nature walk on it.
Great place to visit. Green Valley of Pine trees. You could take a break in this place during visiting Kufri. Take little time to enjoy the view of green valley. Careful about parking car.

It's a view point almost midway between Shimla and Kufri. Few kilometres of untouched forest gives an amazing view. Unfortunately there is no formal designated area for view point Just on the road side hence need to be careful esp if with kids as traffic keeps moving quite close. Many cars and people stop here. Few maggie points are there. Enjoy the view. For trekking inside the forest there is another way to get in far from view point.
