This hotel is very close to marine beach and stadium , near to the main road, lot of hotels , restaurants and shops nearby. The service of the staff was also friendly. They provide you with toothbrush and toothpaste along with water bottle,soap, shampoo and oil sachets. No kettle or tea bags provided which is fine for this price. I gave 1 star for the bed and cot they have provided inside the room. It was making creaking sound even with the slightest movement, i would say our whole sleep was disturbed due to the horrible sound. The bathroom was old and pipes were leaking . I will not be going back to this hotel as there and hundreds of other good options available nearby.
Grand View Residency in Chennai offered excellent service with friendly staff and exceptionally clean rooms and foods are available at my choice. Marina Beach, MGR Memorial, Chepauk Stadium and Madras University is near to this residency making it a perfect choice for my Chartered Accountant Convocation trip. Highly recommended!

Pros - The staff was great and friendly. They helped us book a sleeper and safely kept our bags during the day we checked out until the night. The room was comfortable. The bed was big and comfy, curtains blocked out the sun well. AC and fan worked well. The location is quite good as it is close to many tourist locations. An Uber to every location should cost no more than 100R Cons - Wifi in our room on the second floor was quite unstable. Had frequent wifi drops that were bothersome. From about 08:00 AM there was noise from outside which could be heard through the windows. Wasn't very loud so if you can sleep through some noise it shouldn't be a bother. To activate the geyser in our room we had to call the room service every time since they needed to activate the main switch.
Very Very good, staff are very helpful. Secured place. We can come very late at night, and it is very near to the main road. Just in front of Kalaivanar Arangam and Chepauk Stadium. We are planning to go in the next month. We requested to fix one exhaust fan in the bath room.
