I have bad experience and I have n number of reasons for this; 1. Delux rooms in the photo is different to what is given, small room, with bathroom not maintained , n number of things were broken 2. Not safe for family with babies 3. Staffs are super rude, they don't know basic etiquette to behave with guests 4. My shorts left was thrown by the staff 5. Salt for eggs or anything, answer from staff rudely no, tissue paper to wipe plate, rude answer no 6. Can we prepare raagi with water for baby, rude answer no 7. Can you give me right room what is in the images, rude answer no; 8. Hotel is inside the street with small slum you need to pass 9. No soaps provided for hand wash; My suggestion, if you are family enter at your own risk; 10. Staffs don't pick luggage unless you push them. this hotel should strictly go through hospitality training for each and everyone every the owner

They are thieves.. they ask you more money than you already booked for and also ask do not book online or else we will not provide you with even one hour early check in not even if you are ready to pay for it. I would say never ever book this hotel if you dont wish to get humiliated. I reached 8 .am today with my family at the hotel as I had a word with the hotel a day before for early check in. It was supposed to be a 2 day stay and when we reached there the super arrogant, manner less man said i only have suite and we charge more for it. We asked him could he plz confirm with the person yesterday on the desk as he said that he is making the reservations on our name but this useless fellow did not do anything except saying listen to me i dont have room thats it. Now in that rainy season with small kid and luggage we have to find some other hotel. If you really want a pleasant stay there are many other hotels nearby but not this one for sure. NO MANNERS NO PROFESSIONALISM NO HOSPITALITY NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS ATALL. Worst experience ever. Do not ever ever stay at this place and yes forgot to add the location... it is in some back street where water is clogged everywhere and big bags of garbage are kept infront of the hotel. For such location they charge 2600/night. Save your time Dont go with this place atall. Thank you

I have to give negative actually . No windows in rooms Great . No proper cleaning and maintaince. I have not seen a such a rude behaviour of reception staff ever in my travelling experience . Plz avoid breakfast. No place for sitting and anything . Plz avoid staying Here better. I request the Hotel management to look after this. Thank you for giving me pleasant stay . No more words to express my experience that bad it was .. I request your manager to call me or msg me. I have to clear something.

This hotel is very close to Chennai Central Station and Chennai Metro Station. It is a walkable distance from the station which is around 05 minutes after you exit from the station. Don't take auto because they will charge you around Rs 150.00 which is of no use. The location or area in which this hotel is located is not very good. The People staying in these areas are taking baths, etc on the road side of the hotel while reaching the Grand hotel. The hotel is good but they need to focus on cleanup of the area and rooms. Bedsheets need to be more focused by the staff. They provide tasty breakfast but this happens only if you have added in your itinerary otherwise you have to order from Zomato or the hotel staff as they are not having kitchen facilities. They are also not providing complimentary water bottles but provide you water in jugs, if you require them. The room is good and they have lift facilities. In the lobby area, foul smells are coming. The hotel staff are very polite in nature. Overall a good hotel for a short stay because of its location near the station.

You should learn to manage your online presence. It shows rooms are available online but when we called we were informed there were no rooms. Good that we saved a huge headache by calling you but not everyone will do that.

Grand Oliver offers us value-for-money rooms. The room is spacious, and the bathroom is clean and well maintained. Receptionists and workers are polite. Convenient distance from Chennai Central Railway Station and Metro Station, but the hotel is deep within an alley.

Walkable distance from station, nice and clean hotel reasonable price., polite persons, nice complementary tiffin available but we missed in the three beds room.Slum like situation surrounding and safe in the night also.

The stay was not bad, the reception staff was also good, the way to the hotel is a problem, qnd slum area with disgusting surroundings, otherwise the experience of the hotel would have been more great. Good for family, bachelors or couple if they have no other better option available. Okay okay feel. Room and bathroom where good. In the hotel it was comfortable, but the way to the hotel, about 30 metres, it was a slum area and disgusting, even dirty stuffs on road, men bathing nearby on the road. like that.... Not advisable to get out of the hotel as a couple after dark because of these slum area and drunkards on the road.
