Very nice geological formation. Enjoyed the views. Worth the visit. But we need to be extremely careful as there are no safety barriers. Govt has not done anything for the tourists. The entry road to the canyon is very dirty and disgusting. No shelter nearby if it rains. Lots of monkeys.
That was a great experience "Grand Canyon of India". We can enjoy a lot here. It would be better if we reach before sunrise to View Point. Also this place has a boating facility. Even the Road to Gandikota is also excellent.
This is history + mighty nature together. Best time to visit between 5am to 7am and 4pm to 6pm because of the hot sun. Must visit with family and friends. If you want to experience adventure, you can have a zip line and boating. Check out Andhra Pradesh tourism website for more info.
Gandikota offers breathtaking canyon views, a hidden gem in India! The grandeur of the gorge and historic fort is awe-inspiring. Must-visit for nature enthusiasts and history buffs. The tranquility and serenity here make it a perfect escape from city life.
One of the best places I have visited. The grand canyon of India. Lovely place to trek, breath taking views and lovely place. Enjoy the sunrise n sunset views at gandikota. Few places to visit like the old masjid, madhavaraya Temple which was built centuries back.
Breathtaking natural formation, known as the Hidden Grand Canyon of India, Gandikota gorge in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh is made by river Pennar that cuts through the Erramala hills which were formed a million years ago. One can spend as much time possible, watching this beautiful natural formation of the rocks. If you are lucky you could see the wonderful sunset. A must visit place.
The best place I have been to in recent weeks . The route to this place is lit. Try to be there by 6-7am to witness sunrise. But this whole place needs to be maintained well. Currently there is no proper maintenance, cleanliness, basic necessities.
Gandikota or the Grand canyon of India. I travelled solo to this place...this place not only offers you natural beauty but also you can see the historical side in the fort. Overnight camping at a reasonable rate are available. Sunrise and sunset are the worth watching. Imagine just waking up from your tent to a beautiful sunrise beside the canyon...it cannot be explained through words and photos. Weekend trip can be planned here.

Amazingly lovely. A sea of yellow flowers surrounds the main temple, and in the morning, the area is swarming with hardworking honey bees. Due to how tourists are, there is some plastic, toffee wrappers, and chips packs scattered all over. However,
