Amazing place we stayed here for 2 nights the service was amazing we couldn't spend much time in the compound but the feel was comforting. The place looks like in an isolated spot but it is not it's location is bang in the middle towards munnar giving it the much needed silence & peace.. Definitely visiting again.

It is very difficult to travel to and fro here, your food has to be eaten/fetched from Anachal 2kms away. That said we did find luckily a bunch of other merry travellers willing to collaborate to enjoy. The manager was also comfortable joining in.

I recently had an extremely regrettable experience with Go Stops Hostel that has left me deeply disappointed and dissatisfied. I feel it is imperative to share the comprehensive details of my encounter to warn others about the unprofessional conduct, lack of compensation, and dismissive customer service exhibited by Go Stops. Having made a reservation for a group of six members well in advance, with our stay scheduled from August 12th to 14th, I was excitedly anticipating our visit. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration and disbelief when, after more than 15 days had passed, I received a sudden phone call from Go Stops informing me that our reservation was being canceled. Astonishingly, the reasons provided for the cancellation did not align with their own policies, leaving me perplexed and deeply concerned. What further exacerbated my disappointment was the discovery that Go Stops had reopened bookings for the very same rooms, but at significantly higher rates. This raised significant doubts about their integrity and intentions, suggesting a possible scam where they sought to exploit the peak holiday season by canceling existing reservations to accommodate guests willing to pay more. Such actions are not only unethical but also undermine the trust and confidence customers place in their service. Seeking clarity and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused, I promptly contacted Go Stops' customer service. Unfortunately, my hopes for a satisfactory resolution were quickly shattered. The customer care representatives I spoke to displayed a complete lack of empathy, failing to provide a reasonable explanation for the cancellation. Furthermore, they outright refused to offer any form of compensation, demonstrating a dismissive and uncaring attitude toward my concerns. This lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction was deeply disheartening. In light of my distressing experience, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of caution when considering Go Stops Hostel as an accommodation choice. Their unprofessional conduct, arbitrary cancellations without valid reasons, and refusal to provide appropriate compensation highlight a severe lack of respect and integrity towards their customers. As consumers, we have a responsibility to hold establishments accountable for their actions. I am resolved to share my unfortunate encounter with Go Stops through various online platforms and review websites, with the intention of raising awareness and safeguarding others from similar experiences. Until Go Stops demonstrates a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction and rectifies their shortcomings, I strongly advise potential guests to explore alternative accommodations that prioritize reliability, professionalism, and customer care.

Gostops munnar had really got a good ambiance. It's situated in middle of the forest . U can feel the vibe of nature. Rooms are very good really loved it . And services are also quite well. But , the food rates are too high . So better anyone staying there should get a parcel from outside

I recently visited the Go Stops Munnar hostel and would like to provide a constructive review of my experience. While I was hoping for a lively hostel atmosphere, I found the hostel community to be lacking in several aspects. One major issue I encountered was with the manager. Unfortunately, he was not particularly helpful during our stay. Despite attempting to contact him numerous times for the itinerary, he did not bother to return our calls. This lack of responsiveness was quite disappointing, especially considering the hostel's remote location from the bus stop. Moreover, it was evident that the manager was not well-informed about local tourist attractions. He mistakenly provided information about spots in Alleppey, which is an entirely different tourist destination. This lack of knowledge made it challenging for us to plan our sightseeing activities effectively. Even if we set aside the community aspect, the property itself fell short of expectations. The condition of the mattresses was unsatisfactory, as they were unclean and emitted a fungus-like odour. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and dormitories was also subpar, leaving them untidy and uninviting. Surprisingly, I found the washroom at the Munnar bus stop to be in better condition than the ones at Go Stops. In conclusion, I regret to say that I cannot recommend Go Stops Munnar as a suitable choice for those seeking a hostel experience. The unhelpful manager, lack of knowledge about local attractions, and overall poor condition of the property, including unclean mattresses and untidy facilities, were significant drawbacks to an otherwise potentially enjoyable stay.

Will never recommend Gostops Munnar. This place is very far from the city limit and is surrounded by nothing. They do not have the basic amenities of coffee or tea. No breakfast provided even if you are ready to pay. The nearest restaurant where we can get breakfast is 2 kms away. They do not have any transport facility. In simple words, you need to starve. Poorly maintained. The quality of room is not up to mark and is filled with live and dead insects. They barely have any staff. The reception desk is always empty, not sure with whom we need to get our queries clarified. The dining area is not cleaned at all. The leftover food, dirty paper plates and trash is just left on the table till next morning. The water in the restroom is yellow. Not suitable for bathing, not even brushing.The flooring of the rooms is also dirty. You cannot walk barefoot in the room. Feels like it hasn't been mopped for days together. Over all it was a very unpleasant stay. Would never recommend GOSTOPS MUNNAR!

After having a wonderful stay and hospitality at GoStops Ooty, we booked GoStops Munnar with a lot of hopes only to be utterly disappointed. Firstly they said they don't have any food or beverages at their kitchen, not even a basic tea or coffee and they did not even bother to help us get some food. How can anyone just say no food and beverages are available at their cafe when we ask them? And the nearest hotel is atleast 2kms away, which is absolutely not walkable until you have your own vehicle. The rooms were very badly maintained and the water in the bathroom was dirty and yellow. You can find dead and live insects in your room. The cots were really shaky and creaky. I would definitely not recommend GoStops Munnar.

The hostel is not easily accessible from the town as it is far away. Also, it is situated on top of a hill. The place offers some parking space for bikes and with some effort maybe a car can be parked. The beds are not that great as they make creaking noises. They make food if we want, and its not bad.
