Very beautiful. Very scenic. It is the highest peak in Bandipur forest at 1400 mtrs.
Tips for visitors:
If you want to avoid rush don't go on weekends or holidays.
Bus service opens at 8:30 and last bus is at 4. So if you are closer to these times the the rush will be less.
In the hill it is cold and there is a mild drizzle. So take rain and cold protection.
Good roads , private vehicles are not allowed to go till the top. Take government buses which ply from 8:30 am to 5 pm. No plastic allowed !
beautiful experience.Vehicles are only available till the base point. Then separate bus is available to temple,bus rate is 30 /one side and vehicle parking is 20 . .
Amazing landscape all the way and excellent panoramic view at the top. You cannot take your vehicle but park it down hill then wait fo KSRTC bus and reach the temple in ~20 mins. If you try the first (8:30 am) or last (5:00) trips chances of animal sighting is there.
Beyond words after witnessing this place. Hypnotic view plus amazing weather. Even at 12:00 PM, it feels like 7 AM.
It is the highest peak of Bandipur National Park. You will have to park your vehicle below and take KSRTC bus to reach till the top. If lucky, one can spot deers and elephants.
It is really an awesome place.
Temple is located on the top of hill.
I have visited 3-4 years back and that time road was horrible.
Hope it must be good now.
One can see Bandipur National Park from top.

One of the most beautiful temples i have ever seen. Travel enthusiasts should go at least once to this place. Government vehicle takes us to the temple from the parking space and the temple has only minimal facilities. Temple and its surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful and the food offered here is delicious
Good place to visit.
Own vehicle travel is banned you have to go by government bus only. Bus facility is frequent.
A small Krishna Temple is there.
Food is provided drinking water available and clean place to wash your hands.
No loose plastic is allowed only Tupperware or plasticware you bring is allowed.
The weather is awesome.
Weekend rush is there weekday it's peaceful.
