Gong - Asian fusion restaurant in Pune - Pune, India

Not the best Asian food I had at this price point. Not a lot of meat options. Especially in ramen. Non alcoholic beverages menu could do with more options. Soft shell crab roll was really tasty for Rs545. It was so tasty I forgot to take a picture. Paying the bill via Zomato gold gives flat 10%. Ambiance and service was really nice. The staff was very attentive and food service was really fast, literally no wait time. If you're going for dinner during weekends. Parking could be hassle.

Great service and ambience, recommend making a reservation if it's a weekend. I mainly wanted to try out their sushi and dumplings - wasn't disappointed at all. Ramen could be better, and desserts aren't as impressive. Cocktails/mocktails are interesting, definitely worth a try.

If you are looking for a Japanese cuisine then this is the perfect place!! Every dish we had here was mouthwatering Ambience is amazing. The place is little bit small and there might be a waiting queue. But perfect place for a date night!

Tried their Chicken Ramen, Chicken dumplings, Khow Suey & Pan Fried Noodles. Ramen could be better. Overall scrumptious & authentic dishes. Doesn't disappoint. The ambience is the cherry on top. Used swiggy dineout for payment so wasn't too heavy on the pocket. Special mention: Loved their cutlery!

The food is great. If you are a fan of Asian food, this is one of the best places to try authentic Asian food. The ambience is amazing. The staff is very polite. Just be mindful of the wait time especially during weekends. Also note it closes around 3:30 PM so they might rush you a little for the final order. Highly recommended

I recently had the pleasure of dining at GONG, and I can confidently say it was an extraordinary experience. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with an ambiance that left me in awe. The restaurant's interior design is a harmonious blend of contemporary elegance and warm, welcoming charm. The soft, dimmed lighting and tasteful decor create an intimate and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a memorable afternoon. But the real star of the show was the food. The menu offered an exquisite selection of dishes that catered to a wide range of tastes. I started with crispy lotus stem black pepper, . The combination of ingredients was masterfully balanced, and each bite was a delightful surprise. Further we had a couple of dishes in both veg and non veg as follows :- - Veg - Avocado & Asparagus role, vegetable in thai green curry, blue jasmine fried rice with crispy garlic (must try) , Bao cottage cheese & sundried tomato. - Non veg - Crispy chicken katsu bao, salmon nigiri & tuna nigiri (sushi), khao suey chicken (must try), New Zealand lamb chop, The exceptional food and the inviting ambiance make it a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in a culinary journey. I will definitely be returning to savor more of their dishes in the future. Highly recommended!

The ambiance and service provide perfect setting for a fine dine restaurant. The place has a wide variety of cuisine from across south east asian countries. Would recommend making reservations in advance if you are going on weekends. Must try: Sushi platter & Mushroom Cappuccino

"Gong" is a top spot for Asian food, and the atmosphere is great. We tried the "Malayan Spice" mocktail and another one I can't remember the name of. Both were really tasty. Definitely try the Malayan Spice if you go. The "Cream Cheese Sushi" is the best sushi I've had in Pune. I've tried a lot, and this one is a winner. The rolls were also great and reminded me of Dimsums. Big thumbs up for them. The only letdown was the Ramen. It was mostly greens and didn't taste like real Ramen. Everything else was perfect, but I'd give the Ramen a 2/10. So, overall, Gong is one of the best places for Asian food in town, except for the Ramen.
