A great place if your goals are - strength training + cardio. I started my journey here and it's been 2 years now since I go to this place. Equipments are good and they have a huge space, which makes you want workout. The people are decent, nobody disturbs you. It can just be you and your workout - a dream for me as a girl. Trainers are all helpful too, both personal and general, you should ask for help if you need it and they'll be there. Nawaz anna, is a great PT there, a solid one if you are determined to change your body for the good. I have seen him be focused and dedicated towards all his clients, so I can personally vouch for him. It also has a cross fit space - for you to unwind and stretch after workout in a secluded place if you'd like. With all that said, yes, it is quite expensive - yearly fee. But I think it's worth it considering what they give in return for it. So be wise and make the most use of it. Cause most gyms in Chennai - they're either way overpriced with not many amenities or they're affordable but may be too crowded or something. I find my balance here, hence yes.

In a nutshell: I'd recommend spending your money on a better gym. This gym seems more suitable for retired employees doing random activities to stay active rather than serious fitness enthusiasts. If I had to sum up my experience at this gym in one word, it would be "overrated." I've been to my fair share of gyms over the years, and this one stands out as the worst in terms of value for money. There's only one proper squat rack and one cable station available, which simply isn't enough during peak hours. You'd expect more from a place with "Golds" in its name. The barbell bench press setup is asymmetrical, making it less than ideal. The absence of a cable row machine, a common back exercise, is a notable drawback. The available chest-supported back machine targets the lats with a neutral grip, limiting your options for a complete back workout. So, for back day, you're left with barbell rows, lat pulldowns, and dumbbell rows, which are exercises you can do in any budget-friendly gym. If variety and options matter to you, you might be disappointed. On chest day, your choices are primarily limited to the asymmetrical barbell bench press, which requires some awkward adjustments. The chest machines are decent, but there's room for improvement. When it comes to leg day, there's only one proper squat rack, so expect to share it during peak hours. The leg machines are acceptable, but it's worth noting that many nearby gyms offer more machines for half the price of Gold's. In summary, this gym doesn't quite live up to the "Golds" standard, and there are certainly more budget-friendly options in the vicinity with a more comprehensive range of equipment. It seems to cater more to retired employees looking to stay active rather than serious fitness enthusiasts.

Being a girl I always feel secured in Golds Gym! Very friendly Staff and Trainers. Super Spacious Gym of three floors! Would 100% recommend to Join the gym!

The gym is very neat & clean Theft free gym currently training under Ashok he is a excellent fitness trainer he is a good nutrition advisor his workouts are really good and motivates u to push forward he is dedicated and gives his full in the entire session

DONT JOIN THIS GYM! They have multiple memberships for multiple clients. The renewal happens on word of mouth and nothing is a standard process. Trainers are rude and there is no rate card. the membership is up to 30k and if you are lucky you will get charged less and i have seen some clients walking out at 18k. Trainers are all the time changing and the old timers have all run away! Pathetic gym, going to close down soon. Watch out for trainers like Mamun and others who are harassing clients for payments.

Few months back I joined the Goldsgym and I blown away by the experience I've had.not only is the gym itself clean and well equipped with a variety of machines,but the gym trainer Nawaz sir absolutely excellent. He took the time to listen to my fitness goals and then crafted a personalized workout plan that has really helped me. Nawaz knowledge of exercise physiology and biomechanics is impressive,and he is always available for answer. Overall this gym has exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their health and fitness.Thank you for such a great experience

NEW MEMBERS - BEWARE! You are entering a stock exchange! I am shocked how an establishment like Gold's Gym, which is such a phenomenal brand in fitness, is being run so poorly by juvenile management in Chennai. The most shocking area of concern is for a Gym known to have standards as in the U.S.; however, this franchise out of Chennai does not even have a STANDARD RATE CARD! They seem to change the fees for various customers as per their will and fancies! I have seen members getting admitted from INR 20K for a year to INR 30K! It is so alarming and disheartening that a world fitness brand like Gold's Gym is being ruined in such a way. I have been a client for 5 years myself in this gym and have also been a member of other gyms. But here, the memberships vary every month, similar to stock rates. We have ample amount of space and equipment here. Service and hygiene is very good. But I feel it's about over priced, apart from that very thing is satisfying
