Golden Sun Inn - Hotel in Puducherry - Pondicherry, India

Overall a good stay in this hotel. Pros: Located in prime location of the city with accessibility to major locations by walk. For ex: At 9.0pm you can do shopping and you can reach to your room by walk. It was also a safe stay here for a family. The rooms were neat and clean. The staff were also co-operative and service was good. Budget friendly hotel stayed for 3nights and 4days for 11k Bar was closed due to maintenance during our stay Cons: Rooms are small. If you are looking for spacious hotel. Then think of an alternative option. If you are planning to travel with your own car,you will have to park it outside of the hotel on the road. Overall the hotel is in a city center with a accessibility by walk to a major destinations.

Hotel is located at good place but not good with service and rooms. Rooms are very small and not even space so that two people can eat comfortably in the room. There is no kettle in the room so there is no facility to get hot water to drink.

We booked this hotel only because our already existing booking got cancelled at the last moment. We visited here on a long weekend and hence the rate was really high. For two rooms, for two nights, we paid almost Rs.16,000. Rooms were okay, not upto the mark. There is limited parking space. And after the complementary one water bottle, we need to pay Rs25 for each water bottle extra. There is a bar at the top and hence, if you plan to visit with your family, please consider that too since local people will be more at night drinking and smoking outside the hotel. Two of the staff were good. One is Saravanan.

Staying experience in this hotel was good. it's near to Rock beach and location wise it's very good. hotel staff were helpful. restaurant food was nice. but our staying costs too much maybe we went on new year time. but overall experience was good.

Clean room (albeit small) and a good location. But our main complaint was with the bedsheets. We had to ask them to change it 5 times before we got a clean set of bedsheets and covers. They kept giving us used and unwashed ones before we complained at the reception. Also, a bit pricey for the facilities you get. It's only ok if you just want to roam around all day and come to your room just to sleep.

Located 1-2 kms to all the famous cafes and beach, bus stand. Room is okay, with minimal facilities. Wifi was not accessible to the allocated room. Got a scooty for rent from here only at a reasonable price. Found the room price on a higher side compared to the facilities provided.

Room was neat and clean. The door lock was not working. That was a point that they should have assessed before saying about the availability of the rooms. It was not rectified. Otherwise a great stay as the Promanade beach is just a few mins walk from this place.

One of worst hotel stay I have ever experienced ever in my life. Dirty besdsheet, dirty hotels rooms with insect and mosquitoes. Less water in wash basin etc.. i never recommend this hotels . I rate this hotels in negative.
