GKM GRAND HOTEL - Hotel in Port Blair - South Andamans, India

You will get many hotels in andaman but never the good people like Guru swami ji. Everyone in the staff was very caring. Even when I got sick, he personally paid attention. Thank you, guru swami ji and the hotel staff.

GKM grand is a very good hotel. Although it came as spice jet SG 680 was cancelled and we were delayed by 24 hours, after loads of struggle, spice jet, accommodated us here. But the owner Mr. Guruswamy was too good, in such a short time, he won our hearts. He also arranges tour packages it seems. One of the good hotels. The Joggers park nearby came as a bliss

I highly recommend this place for tourists for their stay at Port Blair... Room prices were reasonable with friendly staff and owner. Well Hygiene Rooms. Serves quality morning breakfast according to your ferry/cruise timings. For Lunch mad Dinner to no need to step out searching for Restaurants as it is having a restaurant attached at Cellar. Our 2 nights of stay was excellent at GKM Grand.

Mr Gurusamy Sir And Amudha Madam were very helpful to arrange our tour arrangements, Hotel Staffs are very friendly and approachable, Rooms are spacious and very clean with amenities. Excellent customer service.. Hotel foods are delicious and great taste.. Our family enjoyed very well. We want to come back and stay here again.

Stayed a night in the Hotel and it was complete value for Money. Mr Guruswamy, the owner of the hotel is very humble and down to earth person ever met across. He went out of of way to ensure the comfort of us who had been to Port Blair for the first time. He takes care of each customer with diligence. I thank him for his helping nature and providing best services.

It was a sudden chance to be there in GKM Grand Hotel as my flight was cancelled that day. At first I had little doubt whether the hotel would be good enough for stay. But at first sight my doubt was clear. At first, the location of the hotel is good. This area of Port Blair is considered as well connected with rest of the city as well as clean and nice. The well behaved staff of the hotel received us cordially. The room alloted for us is really good. The decor and other things of the room were well enough. The restaurant of the hotel served good and delicious food both in dinner and breakfast. I appreciate the restaurant staff and the cooks. In a nutshell I suggest this hotel for those who want to visit and stay at Port Blair.

We stayed here for a couple of days when we visited Andaman. The rooms were perfect sized and maintained. The attitude of the owner is a huge plus and must mention. Everyday morning he would come perfectly dressed and prompt and check for any issues. His prompt attitude was evident in all the services in the hotel. The food was so delicious that we didn't want to eat anywhere else. We even packed lunch from there when we headed out for the day. The three star for the rooms is because the decor is slightly old fashioned, although very clean. A better interior design and choice of colours would make this an amazing stay. The ambience and cleanliness was spot on. I will definitely recommend this place!
