GK Residency - Lodge in Perambalur - Perambalur, India

Reception attendent has very bad attitude not professional he plays songs from his mobile in very high volume as if it is a Market place ,the room air conditioner is not working he asked to wait for one hour for the ac to chill but even after that it was not working inspite of request to change the room there was no response and above all the lights in the corridor is constantly flickering and dark like some ally of a horror movie . Finally at middle of the night i had to check out and find some other hotel.

We stayed here in June 2022. We had a bad experience. Due to disruption in power supply , current went off for 4 hours; when requested, the Manager refused to switch on Generator; further he answered arrogantly ; this is in spite of the fact that we are regular customers to this hotel for the past 5 years. Further, when we discussed this poor service with the manager, he instructed his staff to charge us for non ac rooms and also added that rooms should not be allotted to us in future. He did it before other customers which was a great insult to us

Very worst service in the restaurant. The attendant was not even bothered while waiting for long. Even when asked them no response. Felt bad and returned without dining

The hotel is located very close to Perambalur bus stand and is on the main road too. Rooms were spacious and clean. Had no water heater/geyser inside the bathroom. Instead, they had a centralised heater or probably a solar heater. If you are checking-out early in the morning before 6-7, you would be getting only lukewarm water and not hot water. But that would still serve the purpose. Ample car parking space available and they even own a restaurant at the entrance of the same building. Quite convenient for travelers. Lift also present in the building.

Decent rooms at affordable price, especially the non-a/c rooms. They have a secure parking on the back side and a reasonable restaurant down below. The staff can speak only Tamil, but even then we had no communication problems and they were helpful...

Only thing plus is it's cheap. Apart that nothing is working properly. - Ceiling Fan is slow and don't have a regulator to adjust - Room service is poor - Bathroom taps are broken. - No water Bottle provided. Just if you need a cheap stay, book their Non Ac rooms. You don't find much difference between Non AC and AC rooms.

Surprise comfortable stay in a small town. On our way to Kodai our car had a breakdown near a town called Perambalur and we were forced to stay in a hotel overnight. We stayed in this place and to our surprise we felt staying in a 3 Star facility at a nominal price. The room was spacious and the toilets were clean and tidy.The vegetarian restaurant served excellent tasty food and room service was also great. Highly recommend this place in Perambalur for guest travelling to Perambalur for any purpose like marriage or functions.
