Worst experience, food quality is not good. we are waiting for the main course for almost 35 minutes. Bad service and hygiene.
Hydrabad biryani was pathetic. Not liked it at all! We just taste a little and asked to change it still the owner said it wont be changed nor it will cancelled.
Amazing Maharashtrian Veg food here but be ready for bad service and hygiene. Our table covers were not clean and also the staff were not concerned about customers. Had to personally ask the manager for things after the staff just ignored us. Loved the special thali and Zunka bhakari thali. The Special thali gives a sampling of their top items and can be shared between two people.
Food is good but the service is very pathetic. We went for a birthday celebration but due to a slow service & even being after several follow ups also we were struggling to get the water also. Please improve your service quality otherwise Food is good
Girija Veg is one of oldest and famous restaurant food chain in Pune. This review is for Lohegaon Branch. Firstly, the place is clean and hygenic and mostly following all the covid guidelines. They have some special Maharastrian Food like Zunka Bhakar, Matki Usal, Vange Bharit and they do also serve Punjabi Food, Fast Food, South Indian and Juices. Started with Paneer Pudina Tikka and Cheese 65 and these were amazingly good In main course have tried Paneer Banjara which was decent enough with proper taste. This place was known for Shev Bhaji, I ordered it but this time they disappointed me! Shev bhaji was not at all as expected! (It was just like red mirch vala gravy only) Service is also little slow which is definitely to be looked upon by restaurant management.
Food- Pathetic. I was told by the ordertaker not to order Chinese coz the waiting period is longer for it so I went ahead & ordered Indian. They took exactly 50 minutes to deliver burnt Paneer Angara. I was also told Angara will be very spicy but in reality it tasted like a mixture of leftover gravy with coated paneer. Service- Terrible. Staff has no courtesy & doesn't know what "service" Means. Made us wait for an hour with no information. Before I could finish my food the same ordertaker came n asked "sir bill ready kardu". Overall the first experience was so memorable that I would never visit this place even if this was the last restaurant on this planet.
Outer and parking space is good. But when you entered inside you'll think 'ye kha aa Gaye hum'. Service persons are good and polite and you don't have to wait too much for your order. But here is the twist, they already prepared roti/chapati and bhakari and when you order they just reheated them. So please carry a cutter (aari) to cut the rotis, and should have strong theeth to chew them. Sabji/dal taste is pathetic, seems like chef is learning and doing experiments on us. Better to bring your own pickle if you still want to visit this restaurant.
Hotel is worst at service, costly food no food quality and completely new staff.. they dont knw difference between mastani and milk shake.. No integrity towards customer
