It's a beautiful place in Ghatshila... Named sunset point but someone can visit any time of the day ... But in the evening it's more beautiful. You will get a very different look of subarnarekha river here.
We visited there last January. Sun already set when we reached there but still the place was enjoyable. Overall a must visit place if you go to Ghatshila.
The natural beauty of Ghatshila is extraordinary. Suvarnarekha river with small hills here has brought out the natural beauty more.

In my opinion, it would be better to visit here during the monsoon or autumn season, because the natural beauty here is more visible during this time.
The rever bed of the Suvarnarekha river is exposed here and the place has a natural backdrop of large boulders and small pools of water with small pebbles at the bottom. We went quite before the sunset and couldn't wait till sunset. But since the sky was cloudy we could get some good photographs. The shore has maxican poppy growing here and there. The flora around the pools include clumps of a wild fern and bush grass. A picturesque place with its own natural beauty.
Scenic beauty of river Subarna dekha is awesome but there is no caretaking seen. Most dirty and unmaintained surroundings

Sunset point at Ghatshila is very beautiful. One can see this place at Ratmohona Or Moubhandar.
The place is not at all crowded. Enjoy in the banks of Subernarekha and enjoy the sunset. When we went, we watched and enjoyed the rain coming towards us from the other end of the river. Just few metres away from Ghatsila Rajbari. No shops for any snacks. Good place to spend time.
The serenity of this place will leave anyone with awe
