The serene ambiance, beautiful surrounding of the ashram makes if special. The ashram facilities were basic but clean, but the ashram staff were not that much friendly and helpful. There are new rooms with new construction also available here at Geeta Bhawan and can be explored. Food is also cheap here. Sometimes the food is good and sometimes not so good. But the atmosphere here is really good. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in Rishikesh to explore spirituality, Geeta Bhawan Ashram is a great option!
Place is nice and cheap but more cheaper is the staff allotting rooms here who literally "judge" visitors and then allot rooms. I am furious writing this coz they disrespect my parents who were calm throughout the conversation for a stupid room. Bigotry on the name of God is unforgivable.
