One of the sight seeing spot in Diu as per the tourist plan. Temple of Lord Shiva is located at sea side. You need to stair down few steps to have view of 5 shivlings. Overall one time visit if you are in Diu. Parking available on payment basis.

Gangeshwar Mahadev Temple is an Ancient Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva known as Gangeshwar Mahadev situated 3kms away from Diu in Fudam village of Gujarat, India. This Temple was built by Pandavas in Mahabharata times. The main attraction of this temple are its Five Shivalingas or rocks in the form of Lord Shiva, located in the midst of the rocks on the seashore, which are often washed by the tidal waves of the sea

The most beautiful place ever. Situated right at the seashore, these shivlingas were made by the 5 Pandavas in this cave when they were on exile. The area has been naturally built as such that the sea water itself washes the shivlings atleast twice when the tide is high. During high water timing, the entire cave gets engulfed in water and the mandir becomes inaccessible. It is a very small place, but very peaceful to be at and very calm. Feels very good.

Convenience isn't easy available, recommend to take personal vehicle or private auto to reach here. Reach to Kesariya Circle by Govt. Bus, then you've to take the private vehicle. In Diu the public transport or auto service is poor. Also, please bring the Pooja saman + Kalash(during low tide) & Flowers from Somnath or nearby market. The Price is either high or the stalls aren't available.

Hey Guys, We have visited Gangeshwar mahdev. It's been nice place. Must recommended to visit on early morning - you will get beautiful view of seas.

Mahadev Temple at sea side. It's very scenic. The atmosphere is very pleasant and here you can enjoy your evening time with your family.

Awesome Place. You can see how sea water touching Shivlinga. Its low crowd and you can visit and enjoy here.
