Excellent service by Mr. Raja. We went with family and we got very good hospitality. Rooms and beds were clean and location is walking distance from the fort. Would highly recommend...
Very happy to have met Raju, humble and smiling Provided quick service. We had Dosa from his home for breakfast which was too yummy. For dinner we ordered Naati chicken and it was the most satisfying dish. Overall I would recommend this to a group of friends....
Just stayed 2 days back...Mr Raja was really helpful.... recommend others to avail the room while in Gandikota
Fantastic stay and camping at Gandikota. Our tents were setup with good view and we had camp fire bas well Mr. Raja was very humble and polite, he take care of us very well. Food was good. Overall good service and value for money package.
We stayed in the rooms and not the tents. The service was really good, he was ready to help us with anything we asked for! Location was not too far nor too close from the Fort & Canyon, just walkable distance. Tents are also available right next to the Canyon, with camp fire facility. Rooms were good but I felt should have had a wash basin too, either inside the bathroom or one common one outside the rooms. Food was also good, more like homely food!
Rooms are very good with all needed facilities. Hotel Owner, Mr. Raja is a very nice person and extremely supportive. The hotel location is very near to the main attraction of Gandikota and both Gandikota fort and Gandikota river view points are walkable distance. Food was provided by Mr. Raja and all were home cooked and good in taste. He also arranged a camp fire on demand for us . Even for the tracking and sports activities at Gandikota, He guided us.
There are 2 options with this property- rooms or Tent stay. We opted for the room instead of the Tent and it's clean and basic place nothing fancy. Don't expect any service, all you get a is a room with double occupancy bed, AC and a clean toilet with hot water facility. With Ample parking space and close to eating places. If you want the Tent experience then let Raja know and he will arrange. This place is about a km away from the rooms and closer to the fort. The tents are all pitched next to each other and the biggest issue is common / public toilets for which you need to walk 800 meters and queue up. Even though you pay for the toilet's no guarantee it will be clean. Overall Gandikota town has potential and beauty but very poorly managed and neglected by AP tourism with Garbage all around. The biggest issue is choices of place to stay and Food. There are few make shift canteens which serve very basic food with limited options. The fort is nice and the river view points has amazing sunset experience.
We booked rooms to stay overnight, the building was new and all were neat and clean. The host Raja was very good. Took care of everything like food, activities, and helping to visit historical places and provided the best service. He can arrange night camping also.
"Gandikota", Gandi means Gorge and Kota means Fort (Fort built on the gorge). This place came into limelight because of its natural beauty, the gorge wherein River Penna flows through and got a tag as "Grand Canyon of India". Slowly and steadily it
We did Zipline, Rope activity and rappelling with Adventure Club Gandikota team. Team was really awesome with their enthusiasm to encourage all age groups to try activities without any fear. They have highly certified team and follow all safety preca
Must go place. But try to avoid over weekends. Go on weekdays, stay in tents over near aptdc camping site, you can enjoy the views during sunset and sunrise. Trek down for boating and kayaking. Must experience kayaking here. You have pay and use toil
That was a great experience "Grand Canyon of India". We can enjoy a lot here. It would be better if we reach before sunrise to View Point. Also this place has a boating facility. Even the Road to Gandikota is also excellent.
I never thought there was a Canyon in India It's beautiful and our own Indian Canyon but it's little Rocky to walk one side, need to be careful...!! Around this Canyon is a temple and a masjid you can see. I heard that there are adventurous things t
Amazingly lovely. A sea of yellow flowers surrounds the main temple, and in the morning, the area is swarming with hardworking honey bees. Due to how tourists are, there is some plastic, toffee wrappers, and chips packs scattered all over. However,

Good place to chill out. Need to be improved in terms of service and quality of food. At night it is very irritating dogs and other animals are disturbing by entering our premises. Morning breakfast is awesome. Overall enjoyed a lot.
