You can walk and sit in garden and also There's canteen where you can have good food. A nice place to spend weekend afternoon with your loved once.
MeA place where Gandhi ji , kasutrba and Mahadev desai kept on eye by Britishers after Chale jao movement 1942. The palace was built by Aga khan || and donated by Karim Aga khan IV to Gandhi memorial society. Tombs of Kasturba and Mahadev desai are here. Nice historical place having sculpture, old photographs and paintings releated to Gandhi's life. The area has greenary and there is office of khadi gramodyog at backside. It charges Rs25 for adult as entry fees
Mahatma Gandhiji and his wife Kasturbaji were interned in this palace in 1942 after the declaration of the '"Quit India Resolution"'. He was accompanied by Miraben, Shri. Pyarelal Nayar, Smt. Sarojini Naidu, Dr. Sushila Nayar and his personal secretary , Shri.Mahadevbhai Desai. Some Highlights of this place 10 August 1942 :- Gandhiji and his colleagues were brought here from Bombay (Mumbai) 15 August 1942 :- Shri.Mahadevbhai Desai died of heart attack. 26 January 1943 :- Gandhiji hoisted the Congress flag at the premises. 19 March 1943 :- Smt.Sarojini Naidu was released because of ill health. 26 January 1944 :- Gandhiji hoisted the Congress flag at the premises. 22 February 1944 :- "Mahashivratri" Kasturba breathed her last after a prolonged illness. 06 May 1944 :- Gandhiji and his colleagues were released from Agakhan Palace.
