Pilgrims have a high auspicious value if we climb Tirumala hills through stairs by walk and many of the devotees climb the hills by barefoot. This side of the hill has 3550 total steps which might take you around 4 to 6 hours depending on the stamina of the person. You get plenty of stores in between to quench your thirst and multiple munching opportunities.

The first milestone while going by walk is this place. The steps count is 2083 . Post this there steps with distances. So if you are planning to go by walk consider this place as first goal . Be aware that from this place to Lakshmi narashimman temple I hope so its at least 3 to 4 km surrounding is higher risk place due to leopards and wild animals so go with a good number of people company. In this place you will get your token I am not sure management is still giving tokens for walker's. There are some foods stall's there and have nice snacks and rest for some time before continuing further .
