Fragrant Nature Hotel & Spa | Luxury 5 Star Best View Resort in Munnar - Hotel in Munnar - Idukki, India

Amazing view, clean rooms, very polite and helpful staff. The gym is small but decent (one multifunction machine, adjustable bench and dumbbells). The food is pretty expensive (buffet was 1000 rupees and a curry was generally 650 rupees for a smallish bowl with two or three meat pieces) and is average. Breakfast options weren't great, especially for Western tastes, but adequate. The only let down was the food, but it's not enough to forgo this hotel. It felt quite luxurious in such a remote area of India. I would stay here again.

Stayed in Fragrant nature for 3 nights. The room was excellent and the view from the open balcony was fabulous. The valley was always covered with mist and when the sun comes up and mist clears for few minutes the view of the valley is so refreshing. The food is very good, although the choice of non vegetarian meat dishes were not that exhaustive. The break fast spread is fabulous. You get the best idliys un matched for its softness and taste anywhere.

Excellent experience here, the staff is very polite and understanding. The ambience from reception to the room is absolutely amazing. the food was quite good as well and the location gives pleasent vibes during the morning. Would surely consider staying here again

Totally Bad experience!!! This property doesn't deserve even 1 star... Hospitality is poor & even after multiple complaints staff doesn't want to listen or improve. They'll simply say sorry for any issue, even for resolvable ones. Washrooms are in pathetic condition, worst than 3 star hotels. Food quality is very very poor. Property is lack of staffs. If you are talking to the manager, he'll left in between conversation to welcome other guests. Not sure how this property got 5 star rating. Honestly, don't go for this property looking at 5 stars, you'll get many many better properties.

Pretty bad experience. Not sure how this property got a 5 star rating. It's far from it. The staff is poorly trained. There is no one to listen to any complaints or queries. Manager would walk from between the conversation to welcome new guests. Bar isn't functional because apparently the bar license costs too high. Food quality is average and you have to remind the staff 4-5 times for any service. Only thing they say is sorry for all the mistakes they do.
