Food Restaurant is a very old fast food joint located Hotel Nandan. Had ordered chicken momo and chicken chow mein. Chicken momo was extremely soft and juicy on the inside. The soup that was accompanied with the momo was very fulfilling and light. Chicken chow mein was good with a generous amount of chicken pieces and some veggies. It is extremely light on your pocket. However, the place was extremely hot and not at all airy for a summer evening, hope they install air conditioners for the customers.
Worst experience we had in there. No AC, first thing. Super late food was served. And what finally was served ? In the name of chicken momos, they are serving onion momos with literally one piece chicken in each momo. Which means, in one plate, 5 pieces of momos & 5 piece chicken in each. We have paid them full money for the food we didn't even touched. The shameless manager sitting there, also took the money. When complained he said, "this is what we are serving since years". Then my dear, you or the people whom you are serving, have never tasted good momos/dimsums. Just go to Delhi, or I think anywhere in India, you will get better momos than this pathetic ones served, "since years", it seems.
One of the best nostalgic food joint which has been stood for generations. We have been going there since our school days and the quality and taste have remained the same throughout all these years passed. Definitely try the Pork Momo and Chicken Momo which is really appetizing. Hakka Noodles and Fried rice should also be tried . Ambience with a nostalgic touch which hasn't been changed much. Staff are well behaved and provide faster service. Do carry cash as they don't have a digital payment system as Gpay or PhonePe. I would recommend everyone to go there and to experience a nostalgic touch.
