FISHTRO - Goan restaurant in Sao Jose de Areal - South Goa, India

I visited this place at my friend's recommendation and I wasn't disappointed at all! We ordered two fish starters, chonak and mussels rawa fry.. the fish was fresh, well cooked and tasty We also ordered a chicken starter (chef's special) named Chicken Zanzanith, a spicy true Goan delicacy, lip-smacking As for the restaurant, it is spacious with beautiful lighting, family-friendly, with live TV screening so sports enthusiasts will love that.. also great for small crowd indoor parties overall a great experience.. keep it up Team Fishtro

Great place and good food also the service there is friendly. One star had to be deducted for fish curry which was unfortunately very bad that day but the owner or manager was really good and didn't charge for the fish curry but hope to have it better the next time.

New place alert!! We heard about Fishtro from our friends and wanted to try it out. Crab Rechado Masala was everything a crab lover could ask for, the crabs were fresh and the Rechado Masala masala added that punch to the flavours. Easily one of the best Crabs Rechado we have had in a long time. Some of best Batter fried Squids. Reasonably priced, combined with the dip makes this batter fried squids a must try. Chicken Chatpata from Fishtro was the only chicken dish we tried at Fishtro and we were not disappointed. The flavours were the ones which we Goans are accustomed to, spicy tangy goodness in juicy chicken. We definitely wanted to try the Prawns Pulao when we saw it on the Menu. Not many restaurants have it on their Menu. We will surely be coming back for more at Fishtro. Fishtro is on Margao Quepem road, around 7 kms from Margao, chilled atmosphere and good service make it a really good choice to hangout with your friends.

This recently opened restaurant has created a buzz with their Chinese thali and many unique dishes. The ambiance is very simple and decent. They have outdoor and indoor seating (non-ac). We ordered: - Zanzanit chicken: Must try for spicy food lovers. As the name goes it's very spicy. Chicken was cooked very well and flavours were on point. - Special Fish thali: Must try!! All the items including veg were delicious. - Chinese thali: This is what caught our attention when we first heard of this place. All our chinese favourites in one thali is an awesome idea. We loved this thali. - Solahrvi mirsang bharillo bangdo: Something unique and good. We loved this one too. Service: Good and prompt. Cost: Very reasonable. Most of the items are in range of 150 to 250 bucks.

Nice food... I have heard fish is the best part of the menu here. Gotta try more to form a real good opinion about the food. Loved the presentation of Shinanyos... They were tasty too

This place has amazing goan cuisine. Since this place was in a constant buzz amongst my friends, thought of trying it out. We had ordered lepo fry, chicken zanzanit, chinese thali, prawns pulao and solahvari mirsang bangdo. The taste of solahvari bangdo and lepo rawa fry was really appetizing. I could have 5 plates of bangdo and still be craving for more. Also they have this new chinese thali which was also great. The ambience is simple and perfect to go with your family and friends.
