Fantasia Houseboats - Hotel in Srinagar - Srinagar, India

Before somedays, i visited to the fantasia houseboat. I visit the boat through shikara, after the passing the nigeen lake, i reached at boat, where was staff members who welcomed me, in a good way. Their communication skills was of another level. Then after entry i go to bedroom, were a beautiful designed bed was ready, neat and clean. Furniture was designed with heritage type materials used in washrooms was very expensive. And most important way of serving foods was totally different from others. Which i loved . And most most important for our health, which was totally hygienic and tasty. At the end, i must say i loved to visit, Fantasia houseboat group of houseboats . I recommend you all to visit once and enjoy the difference . Thank you fantasia houseboat the great hospitality.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our July 2021 Motorcycle Ride to Kashmir a d had a wonderful time. The owner Mr. Majeed is a fantastic host and provided the best possible service to us 2 tired motorcyclists. He also arranged a taxi for us to do local sightseeing. I would never forget the welcome Hit Kahwa which was served with the most beautiful background view. The rooms were super comfortable and spacious. We were also served the most delicious and authentic Kashmiri food here. We would love to stay here again whenever we visit Srinagar next. 100% recommended.

We enjoyed 4 nights on a Fantasia House Boat. The owner and staff went out of their way to ensure we had a most memorable holiday. The location is peaceful, the meals were outstanding, we thoroughly enjoyed the home cooked Kashmir food. I would highly recommend and hope to go back and spend more time.

Awesome experience living in it! Very nice, clean n well managed with all resources. Only problem us, its not a suitable place to stay during winters! It gets extreme cold during winters. Although electric blanket n room heaters are there, still you cant enjoy the boat without central heating. Power cut also keep happening so its inconvinient and cold! We went in the last week of December n we couldnt get out of our bed n room due to -6 degree temperature with no central heating. But otherwise good place to stay with all reading, dining room, open area available. Scenic beauty is just flawless!

Lovely experience here. The host is very cordial and the Houseboat is very clean. There is a pleasant calm in the vicinity. Loved the shikara ride in the Nigeen Lake and Dal Lake

It's an affordable housing and feels like home, with good ambiance and cozy accommodation. Provided with home food and the owner is so humble nature, our stay and scheduled visits were planned by him, which made our trip memorable for our whole life. Two people Hafeez and maajid were available at any time and they took very well care of our needs. Hotel provided cab service from day 1 including pickup and drop to airport. Driver Khurshid was so helpful, we can write a book about him and he taken care like a brother and showed the famous places in such less time. We stayed almost a week and felt like home. Planning to visit again, and would like to meet the same people and travel in same car with same driver. So our trips will be memorable in life.

Great experience staying in this houseboat. Very homely feeling and excellent home cooked food to suit our own very taste which the owner Rahim ensured fro the Day 1. He took personal care to ensure our stay was homely and comfortable. Mansoor, the exclusive attendant attached to our houseboat was always available whenever you needed anything. The cook, Munni was willing to cook whatever we wanted and just the way we asked her to make - plain and simple. Living and the dining area are common when we interacted with other guests staying in the house boat and it was indeed refreshing sharing our respective experiences. It was like family stay with very helpful staff who did everything smilingly. Special mention also for the driver, Aquib who is young, energetic and was good company throughout in every car journey that we undertook. I have given this place four stars and not five since this house boat is meant for homely stay and awesome experience and not five star luxury. The benefits here by far exceed the costs which in any event was very reasonable. Rahim and Anna have done a great job, and we look forward to further stays at Fantasia Houseboats. The view from the front deck of the houseboat is fantastic and I have taken some great pictures. Rahim has been true to his promise and has ensured that we get everything that he had promised at the time of the booking.

A beautiful houseboat in Nageen lake. Very calm and quiet. It is not at all congested as of Dal lake. Mr. Rahim Lagoo is a nice person, very helpful, always tries to solve your problem. The food is good and tasty. Overall it is a well maintained houseboat with very good staffs to make your stay memorable.
