It's good for the locality, this is the 2nd time to visit this place but I kid you knowing this place has saved me. Suddenly I was wondering why it is difficult to find a good place to stay in Chennai when I booked another place before this..... If traveling solo and on good budget you can definitely come here
Esthell Hotel Adyar is a hidden gem in Chennai! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff is friendly, and the location is great for exploring the city. I had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chennai.
It is situated on ADAYAR . WITH IN The city. Rooms are neat and tidy with GOOD house keeping. STAFF at the reception were helpful and humble Can choose for a shorter stay Since I had been on marriage trip don't exactly know whether they have restaurant or not , since we did not find it necessary . No comments on it .

Additionally, there are various vegetarian restaurants in the vicinity, including popular options like A2B, Saravana Bhavan, and Ratna Cafe. Furthermore, the proximity to Besant Nagar Beach adds to the appeal of the location. One minor drawback is that the hotel itself does not have a restaurant for lunch and dinner. However, this is easily manageable as there are restaurants within walking distance, allowing guests to explore different dining options in the area. The Hotel doesn't have a swimming pool, indoor games, and open area. Needless to mention.
Booked through hotel website. Telephoned and informed that I will be reaching at 7am in hotel and asked if there would be any problem with check in . They assured me that I could report at 7 am. But on arrival I was told that the check in time was 11am. I said I had a conference at 10am and I could not wait. Then the receptionist told me about the rules of the hotel and about check in time. He phoned somone and after 30 minutes he relented. This was a bad experience.

Nice Rooms with good budget and friendly staff's made our stay very comfortable. Though we had an event on the same hotel approximately for 50 pax which was very well managed by the management team.
