Had a wonderful time at Elegant Shades. The most beautiful apartment with a scenic view. The hosts are wonderful and always available. The kitchen is well-stacked. It's a 4 minute drive from the beach and the food at the resort is really good too!
This is by far one of the best service apartments that I've stayed in Goa. 10 on 10 when it comes to elegance, serenity, security, hygiene, food, service, care and safety. I stayed there for 3 months amidst the pandemic; Marina and family took such good care of me. It almost felt like a home away from home.
Locality wise it is just one km from the beach and about half a kilometer from the main market.
If you are traveling to South Goa then you must stay at Elegant Shades and experience the goodness.
My first time in Goa and what an awesome and great place to stay. Rooms are really neat and clean with all amenities. Very close to the beach in case you want an evening stroll.
Must mention the hosts who were equally amazing and hospitable. Thank you for the homely vibe during the stay.

SEARCH NO MORE- This place was truly special. My husband and I have been traveling for 6months and have stayed in many different accomodation types including some 5 star hotels and I can confindently say that Elegant shades was one of a kind and exceeded our expectations. Marina and Caitano were amazing hosts (and cook!).
You are surrounded by beautiful palm trees and it is quiet and peaceful. Everything is kept so clean and tidy. The rooms are so spacious with high ceilings and clean as well with huge kitchen / fridge.
There is also free laundry (just bring or purchase your own detergent).
The beach is about 10 minute walk, the town is also 10 minutes walk. You can ask to rent a bicycle or motorbike that the hosts will arrange everything.
I could see myself staying here longer than few weeks and definitely see myself coming back again when visiting goa.
- One minor thing was the wifi, we had to do some research on our trip and book flights etc. But it was a bit hard to do so with spotty wifi.
We didn't know what to expect because we hadn't seen many recent reviews...This small hotel is a wonderful place to stay for anywhere between a night and a month or longer! It's run by the owners who live onsite (in their own home) the place is immaculately clean inside and out. The rooms are enormous! Huge living room and big bedroom with a good sized shower. Nice kitchen with all the cooking utensils and pots and pans provided. Stovetop and fridge. The air conditioning worked great. If you don't like AC and prefer outdoor air, they have mosquito nets in the closet for you to hang up! Nice balcony. There is a free washing machine for your cloths too. Bring your own detergent or buy from them. The pool was always kept clean and the filter was running. It's a 12-13 min safe walk to the beach. Staff are great too. Food was delicious. The only bad thing was the WiFi. It just never worked properly for more than 10 min. Many people come on vacation to disconnect but unfortunately not everyone can or wants to so that needs to be fixed. This place was really awesome. Next time in Goa, we will stay here again.
Second stay for me and my wife in the traveller room which was great. Super clean room which was very comfortable with a big bathroom, lots of cupboard space and a room safe. Loved the pool area, and the breakfasts are delicious - try the paratha or the veggy breakfast with chapati, you won't be disappointed! We travelled as a family with kids. Place is neat and clean, 10 mins walk to Serbatim Beach. It's 5 mins drive to colva Beach. Nice small garden and good size pool.Host were nice and accomodative of all our requests. Food was amazing. Will recommend.
