Offers limited items served hot and quick. But for a new establishment price of items should be kept low. I ordered mutton masala, it was too salty. I dipped it in Raita to make it palatable. Coming to hyped biryani, it's aromatic but taste wise it's nothing extraordinary. Overall a good restaurant.

It brings immense pleasure for biryani lovers like me when a new biryani point comes up, that too in our vicinity. We went to check out the place on the 2nd day of its opening. Overall, It was a great experience. The owner was very friendly, the staff too were cordial, the service was prompt, the interior was lovely, and last but not least the food was lip smackingly delicious. We had mutton biryani, Chicken Biryani, Masala chicken and some soft drinks( I wish hot beverages were available). I would say elder's biryani is one of the best biryani in the city. I have had biryani from other places in the city too, elder's biryani brings the authenticity we were craving for in Biryani. The masala was good ( I would have preferred lighter masala though), the chicken pieces or mutton pieces were well cooked, the raita(dont ignore) was an absolute balancer for me. The masala chicken were delicious too. The price ranges from Rs.200/half plate to Rs.380/full plate. The full plate comes with an extra egg. So people, plz do visit the elder's biryani and experience the authentic hyderabadi dum biryani in your city itself.

Hyderabadi Dum Biriyani: Taste is nearest to the authentic version. Best in Imphal, Manipur. Taste is 8.5/10 Halal Chicken.

After a long time, I am able to get an authentic taste of Briyani , definitely recommended to everyone. The restaurant is on the 1st floor, great views from the inside too.

Tooo dry and chiken briyani was not up to mark. Too much mixes of different spices, takes away the taste and flavour of the rice as well as the chicken

Tried the Chicken Biryani. It was unbelievably tasty compared to my prior experience of Biryani in Manipur where most of them are either soaked in oil and god-knows-what colours. The staffs were very nice and overall a satisfactory experience. Would love to frequent this place. Thank you Elder for finally helping me get over Hyderabad by bringing Authentic Hydrabadi taste right here in Imphal.

The Staff seemed too awestruck when asked for chilled coca-cola and cold water that too in the sultry summer. I wonder how on earth they run a restaurant just to blatantly reply that they dont keep ice cubes nor cold water and beverages.. The mutton biryani was delicious but the meat was more of a bone that too stiff and without meat. It would have been a perfect gnawing bone for dogs.. The serving lady was so surprised when we asked for a dip or sauce or mayonnaise as an accompaniment for the roast chicken.. There is a lot of room to improve upon, especially the staff. You guys serve hot and spicy food, so obviously the customers would ask for cold beverages.. Hope these suggestions come handy

The best Biryani in Imphal. The serving is generous at an affordable price. The service is always top notch. A healthy distance from the heart of city noise perks up really nice.
