This place has shops selling traditional Orissa handicrafts. Items are a bit expensive. Better to visit Pipili village on the way to Puri from Bhubaneshwar, where you can see huge variety at reasonable rates. There are a few restaurants serving a variety of food. I think the place is worth a miss, if you are going to Pipili.
Nice and small place, at the heart of Bhubaneswar. Traditional handicraft and state of art like chandua, handmade display pieces, wall hanging posters, brass hand made statues etc along with some restaurants. Having ladies and gents washrooms, parking for cars and bikes.

I went there on an eve of classical music on a Sunday. It has a stage which is open for all and without roof or wall. Various cultural programs are held there. Have few shops showcasing and selling handcraft bags, frames and showpieces. Have few food shops too. Not a crowded place and suitable for people to chill around refresh.
Visited today to explore the Handloom Expo on a Winter Evening, with mom. The place offers ample space for parking for just rupees 5 (Two wheeler). The Fair was quite pleasing to the eyes with all the shops neatly tucked around the vast ground in an orderly way which gives an airy, spacious feeling immediately. I couldn't explore the park area which is actually what Ekamra Haat is all about, rather an exhibition organised at this spot because I didn't have much time. But I would keep that for another day. Definitely a good place for art and craft lovers and a chill spot for all sorts of people to enjoy, rejuvenate.
They have improved the inside of the haat area and more beautification has been done. Could find security guard inside looking a watch of the premises. Shops are more organised and the open amphitheatre area was organised for various functions. The lawn area also maintained properly.
