Eden Beach - Blue flag Beach - Public beach in Ariyankuppam, Chinna Veerampattinam - Pondicherry, India

This beach is very clean and calm. They don't allow sellers near the swim area. There is a safe zone marked for swimming, a life guard is always sitting there. Stingrays are seen on the beach but not near to the swimming zone. There is a adventure club and activities also but its far on the right side from the swimming zone. The water is very clean and good for swimming. Very less number if people visit this beach. Perfect for photography. There is this pillared structure right at the entrance of the beach. Changing rooms for men, women, handicapped, are available also Toilets are available. Its free service. There's a lot of food joints but outside the sand area, it seems they are not allowed on beach to avoid pollution of water. The fish food is very tasty and freshly served and at very less price. Maggi, sandwich, rice, sambar, bhaji etc available for veg options. Lemon soda, coconut water is also available to quench thirst after a good beach swim.

It's a great beach where one can swim in Pondicherry. The estuary right next to it, just makes it a wonderful beach to enjoy. I walked from Eden to Paradise beach rather than taking a boat to paradise. I found the walk mighty enjoyable especially during sunset time

Clean beach. No hawkers or stalls at the beach though. Do note that the beach is closed after 6pm and you can only sit at the Central arch structure. That was a bit disappointing. Lifeguards ensure you don't get into the water once beach is closed. There are toilets and showers right at the beach and would be great to come in the morning around 9 or around 5pm. The approach roads are a bit tight and narrow but good for bikes. There's ample parking nearby but paid.

A small and beautiful beach 10 minutes away from Paradise beach. Went their after spending the entire day at Paradise. No entry fees but only parking is charged. There are games like the zip line, camel rides , padel boating and others. There are also small shops where they sell food. The beach is clean and less crowdy. Had raw mangoes from a street vendor and coconut inside the beach.

One of the cleanest beaches I have been to, zip lining also available, beautiful scenery. Though it was too crowded and I found difficulty finding a parking place for car. Please note: I went in the long weekend.

This beach has my heart! It's so beautiful and calm (ofcourse not during rush hours ). It's less crowded than other popular beaches like pondy marina, rock beach and paradise beach. We spent almost entire day at this beach. We clicked photos, we sat and relaxed by the shore, we took a walk from this eden beach to paradise beach. It's a very good place to visit when you are in pondicherry

This is by far the cleanest beach I have seen in India .No wonder it got the Blug flag tag. Safe swimming is a peculiarity of this beach. Activities such as Camel riding, Zip line etc. are available. Wastebins and pay toilets are beautifully maintained.

One of the very clean beach you'll come across in India. Quite and mesmerising. They have paid washrooms and shower room as well. Only con I would say is that for everything they charge you.
