Feels like home away from home. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a break from big city life, and be by yourself for a while. It's peaceful, quiet and the hospitality will make you feel like a child. The place offers local guided tours and is budget-friendly. Also, don't forget to try their home-cooked food. Here are all the positives:
- Safe for solo travelers
- Family friendly
- Homely
- Peaceful
- Proximity to the airport
*Please ask for wifi connection in case you need to work there but I won't recommend working from here at all. Enjoy your trip!
Very homely, touched by the hospitality. The owner Karun and Monica are very friendly, polite and kind hearted. They took every pain to make us feel at home and made our stay comfortable. Thanks a lot. Nice experience of staying and tasty food. The Art Gallery is also good. I would like to visit along with my family. God Bless the family.
Excellent place to stay.
As with any good place to stay the most important thing is how the host interacts with you as a guest and in this case it was a great. We where given an interesting insight into what was going on at the time(Yoshang festivities)
The availability of a scooter also made it easier to explore town without worrying about parking and narrow lanes.
The food was very good, room was clean and walking around the area in the evening is extremely pleasant.
There is a good parking space.
Loved my stay at Eco Heritage Villa. Initially I had booked for 1 night, which got extended to 5 nights! It is a relatively budget friendly homestay/resort, just 3.5 kms from the airport and not so far from the city as well. Rooms are new and quite spacious. Kuran and Monica are amazing hosts, and they will make you feel right at home! If you are looking for a home away from home, then this is the perfect place. Kuran is a wonderful guide and will help you with personalized tours as well. Overall, highly recommended!
I had a wonderful time at the Eco Heritage Villa. I initially went there with a plan of 2 days, and ended up staying there for thr entire duration of my Manipur trip. Kuran helped me out with my ever changing plans and itineraries, arranging things, and ensuring everything was fine with a wholesome 360 degree experience.
The best was the conversations I had, as he took me around to all places, with insights into the rich history, culture and tradition of the state. And Monica, cooked me such yummy homely food, accommodating the reservations I had. Everything organic, from their farms.
With the kind of ideas Kuran has for the property, I'm sure it's going to get only bigger and better from here.
It being closer to the airport and even the railway station (which is under construction), makes it much easier.
If you are looking for a peaceful stay in Manipur, this villa got to be your choice!
We stayed in the old block(2 rooms). In this block, facilities are basic but comfortable. If you are family, you might prefer a room in the new block which is new, more organized and with better hotel like facilities. Owner lady is very sweet
Wonderful host....very amicable and warm. If you are looking for relaxing in quiet and peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it would be an ideal place with all the greenery around. The family was working in tandem to ensure that their guests were comfortable. I would love to go back anytime.
1) close to the airport in the opposite direction of main market
2) place is clean and hearty breakfast
3) lots of open space available with in house farming and the rooms are maintained.
4) the host try to assist in every little thing.
It was a pleasant stay. Would recommend to travellers who need a place to crash.
