Dylan's Cafe - Cafe in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

It's a Bob Dylan themed cafe. The food is little above average. Their momos were not so great compared to others I have tasted before. The pork ribs were good and so was the lamb chops. Ambience is ok. The non smoking section and the smoking section segregation's were not very great. You could still have smoke smell even if you sat completely in the inside section. Parking is available but limited.

Good vibes, Good ambience and Good experience ! It all depends on which mood are you going with ! We landed up there just to have coffee and get the vibes, and found it great. The ambience was absolutely great with ceiling pained/posted with graffities dedicated to Bob Dylan. Food was okay and nothing great but I loved the place because of the vibes. After finishing our coffee and cakes, we shifted outside and occupied the sitting area there. Watching the sun set with cool breeze blowing, evening looked beautiful.

Excellent place for food & breakfast. Coffee is just fine but the food is wow. Try any of their omelettes- its amazing. Even the jaw breaker burger is the best. Ambience is 11/10. Its a little on the expensive side but worth it

Visited Dylan's on a Sunday morning. The opening time on the Net was mentioned as 1030, although it opens at 0930. We reached around 1020 & the staff was still getting their act together. However, there was no wait and our orders were taken without delay. We ordered for mushroom & cheese omelettes (229/-), which was served with brown bread toast & butter. The cheese was hardly discernible in the omelette. We also ordered for American pancakes (269/-) with blueberry sauce, which was okay. The Banana Nutella pancakes (259/-) were good. The Veg Fajita wrap (299/-) was good, though high on sauces. We also had Hash brown (59/-) sassy sides, which was okay. The place has a great vibe and great character. They also sell their merchandise at the cafe. The service was quick and smart. The toilet was neat. The parking is on the road side and not very much. If you love English breakfast and confectionery in a place with great ambience, this is the place in Shillong. Visited again on a Sunday morning. The lady took our orders. Thereafter, after about 15 minutes we were informed that there were no eggs in the kitchen and so our orders couldn't be served. We were offered alternatives, which we refused.

It was a great cafe. The chilled white wine was superb and hot brownie with chocolate syrup & ice cream was super delicious BUT both chicken items we ordered were not upto the mark. It was simply boiled chicken with sauces on top, which we had anyway. I would suggest you to skip all chicken items, unless you love boiled Chicken with boiled veggies (I am fine with it though). Stick to alcoholic drink with bakery items and you'll be good. Nonetheless, the place has a great charm alongside its legacy which we loved a lot. The service was above average which we adored so much. Highly recommended!

Visited this Dylan themed cafe this weekend. Brownie points for availability of parking space. Food was good, but could have been better. Ambience amazing. The cafe had a vibe of its own. Something that cannot be put into words. Overall good food and good ambience, but there's definitely more space for improvement. Like the availability of more washrooms. Will visit again.

This cafe is amongst the most famous cafe of Shillong. This has uniquely themed around Bob Dylan. Decor of the cafe is very tastefully done. We ordered some vegetarian food and the taste and presentation was quite good. If you are looking to explore some cafes in Shillong then this one should be on your top of the list.

The food was not that much delicious. We tried lamb and chicken steaks but wasn't delicious. Apart from that the ambiance was pretty great and the service was satisfactory.
