Dr. H.G. Roberts Hospital - Hospital in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

I feel pity for.all those Nurses and Staff who are working hard but due to the negligence and the easy going of the Dr's who are the backbone of the Hospital, many of us have lost hope to get or go foe treatment in this Hospital except small cases or urgent one. Therefore if the management in particular and the Synod Presbyterian in general doesn't take serious steps I fear this Hospital will remain only in History

Worst hospital, worst management... booking a private room it's very hot and stuffy and we can't even close the door, the bolt is not working anymore and we have to sleep like that and it's not safe..some nurses weren't experienced enough..... long story short ....at the day of discharge they ask to stay one more night in the hospital while nurses stop visiting the room since morning. They give too many excuses about MHIS card approval because they send the bill to MHIS office later in evening so the patient can pay in cash or stay another night and giving the patient ideas that if she want to go home she can pay in cash the full payment as everyone does, but never mentioned where the MHIS scheme bill go to. When we tried to visit MHIS counter in evening it's already close when we call the MHIS office they already approved. We get discharged till the next day and had to pay extra for the room just because of their negligence. Point is, the government provided the scheme to everyone they should accept it as it is and just do their duty on time. And they should respect the patient too, what's the point of running the hospital when they didn't really give proper hospitality and care??

Worst Hospital ever my mother is in critical condition but they would look at her documents first for nearly two hours and just left my mother there. This is not the Robert Hospital I once knew

The best hospital in Shillong.Treatment is excellent.. All the staffs are very good ,polite and approachable.

Worst services especially the irresponsibility and rudeness of the security guards . Emergency service not up to the mark - unavailability of doctors 24/7, Patients are persuaded to undergo needless treatments or tests, and you will be amazed with the cost of a one night emergency stay!! so avoid going to this hospital for emergency purpose especially.

Good hospital,Good doctors but the nurses service is really poor whenever we call them they take 30 - 40mins to come..and the staff's they don't even have the hospitality they talk every rude as if we are not humans to them..

This hospital is a renowned hospital since my Grandfathers time who works here and it still stands till today the 28 June,2022.This hospital is 100 years old,and it has saved my family from many illness.As of now it is well known for kidney stones removal n other types of diseases as well.I would like to thank my doctors and nurses who dedicated their life and work in this mission hospital,by the Grace of God.

My father had undergone stitches. After 1 week we were asked to come and remove the stitch but when they did so, the cut was still open. We were asked to consult with the doctor, but they didn't inform us which day or time the doctor will be coming. The day after, we went back to the hospital for consultation but we were left unattended. The staffs are supposed to inform whether the doctor will be coming or won't be coming. They made us wait for almost an hour and a half without informing us anything. I am highly disappointed. Looks like they don't respect their patients.
