One of the worst experiences of our life. They say "doctor is like god" but they can be a devil too if they don't have the right intention and process. Way back in 2015, my wife underwent lap myomectomy for treatment of uterine fibroids under Dr Gautam Khastagir. Horrible observations through out the entire process: 1. His clinic (Birth near Elgin Road) is just a money clinching body where you as a patient is a guinea pig to the system's whims and fancies. There is zero empathy towards patients. 2. My wife was wrongly prescribed by Dr Khastagir's junior during a routine check up (which Birth sets up regularly to add to their coffers, if you want to meet Dr Khastagir, you have to pay the line of these junior doctors in line whom we wouldn't step in ever for consultation). Creating a bench for tomorrow basically to have the organisation running at patients' cost. So, this junior doctor wrongly asked to get a USG done within 30 days of the operation which apparently is wrong. Because (1) it misguides the patient with the report and (2) USG on the wound isn't right so early. When Dr Khastagir saw the USG report, he was snarled at us for getting a USG done so early as it is not medically recommended but on knowing that his own team had prescribed, just to save his skin teared the prescription to slay the proof of evidence. But he didn't know patients aren't that dumb and we will have copies. 3. There was an unnecessary hormonal treatment prescribed not once but twice which later on consultation with one of the leading endocrinologists of the country actually asked us to name him and go against Dr Khastagir on asking how this line of treatment was recommended. It was utter disbelief to him. My wife had to undergo severe physical discomforts and further treatment to be out of it. The phase of life for us as a family was so difficult that we couldn't take legal courses then. But for all others to go on Birth and Dr Khastagir, beware.

Most money minded and over hiked birth clinic . They charge Rs 3000 for visit and do not listen properly to patient . To get an emergency appointment with this doctor you have to wait for more than week...although that patient is an existing regular one . There main focus to get into IUI & IVF and then treatment stretches longer time and more injections without properly case study and patient suffer later. Please be aware of there business and overhiked name. They have given excessive injection dose and patient suffered and later laproscopic surgery to operate for ovarian cyst occured due to high dose injection. They even admitted and advice to stop treatment for 3 months ....total carelessness .

He is alike God..my pregnancy journey become smooth for him..and i recovered within 10 days post operation..he is little more expensive but treatment is just Woow..

one will certainly get tratment like any other child birth centre. Only difference is will drain all your money by recommending unnecessary tests and expensive medicines. Facilities provided are exorbitantly expensive compared to market rate.

Hi....I m very thankful to dr.gautam khastagir....He is god for me...bahut disappointed and hopeless thi bt unke pas jane se meri pregnancy positive ho pai....his treatment is little expensive bt successfully result....thanq so much him and his entire team

He CHEATED the patient by FAKING A SURGERY and did absolutely nothing. Made several cuts, kept her for 30mins and stitched her up JUST TO GET MONEY. He is an ABSOLUTE SCAMMER and BUSINESS ORIENTED HYPOCRITE! May God never forgive this man. Please do not go to him and his Birth Fertility Clinic, if your life and money is precious to you!

My experience is, Same or even better service you can get expensing low cost than here. A businessman much than a doctor.He profits from all the way he can, like medicines, tests, operations.....
