Worst hospital , too long procedure , nurses attitude are way too much. We patient treats them (doctors & nurses )like a God , but they treat a patient like we nothing. Please be polite to a patient, treat them well . Your attitude towards a patient was way too much. Hoping that you all will be humble n treats patient well in Nearer future .

Though my dad expired before they start chemo but i want to say one thing that the administration staff are horrible and they don't give a damn about the patient who come from outside state for registration and all the counters staff also lazy and arrogant and oh my God what can say about those arrogant lame lab technicians I mean u are a mere lab technician and showing so much of arrogancy they just don't care about the patient reports to give on the said time and they would make u wait longer. All and all a horrible experience I had at this hospital. I just want to say please understand the patient's situations too and be a bit generous And some local patients they think they own the hospital my god the attitude they show just because they belong to that state and the hygiene of the hospital toh I didn't mentioned only the administration seriously need to look after all this and lastly the dietitian whom the doctor recommend to meet before the chemo seriously who made that lady the dietitian who don't even know how to talk properly to the patient and so much of arrogant seems like it's their property

My husband died here and his last moments were horrible because of the rude and unkind staff. The management is terrible. They've got a stupid system of a long registration process while the emergency patient has to wait in the ambulance for hours. The registration staff would take their own sweet time gossiping and drinking tea. I had to cry to keep them moving. Then they refused to admit us because the doctor forgot to write the word "admit". We had to go back and get this word written, which wasted more of our precious time. Even the doctor was surprised at this. You have to keep running from one building to another, multiple floors of unmarked departments. The whole thing is very ill-planned. The place is filthy, even the private rooms. The pharmacy closes at 9:00 pm and you have to hunt for meds in the city beyond that time. Not an easy task if you're coming from outside. The nurses are a different breed of rudeness. I guess they're understaffed and hence the stress, but telling a patient who's shouting in pain to shut up is just wrong. They even switched off the AC in our pvt room against our wishes because they felt cold while entering. The doctors and the ICU staff were nice, but the rest were just so terrible.

Dr B Borooah cancer hospital is people's hospital, those criticizing hospital management staff make hardly 1% of people who came back spending their money at some private expensive hospital other 99% people who get treated here don't even know how to write a post. I started my mother in law treatment in mid of 2023, Registration process is smooth if you know how to fill the form it hardly takes 30 mins, As I mentioned it's a people's hospital that's why common OPD hall looks crowded but there are Medical, Surgical, Head and Neck Radiation and Gynaelogic oncology dept OPD's at same Hall, First they identify and demarcate, once treatment starts once you are in the system things go smooth. Many people complain about not talking or meeting the doctors but other side is Doctors here know every patients they are treating by their name , I have seen them post operations at ICU till midnight, I have seen doctors at B Borooah to check on their patients on sundays. Doctors, nurses even the housekeeping staff are committed towards the hospital and patients. I was never treated rudely neither any of our other attendants. I wrote this post to say thankyou to all the Doctors, Nurses and support staff specially to surgical oncology department. In my life I've never seen a doctor behaving rudely to the patient. The doctor from Hematology dept who is asst professor asif iqbal, i dont know who works under him but the there's a doctor who speaks in hindi and his colour tone is black. He is very shameless doctor I've have ever seen in my life, making fun of patient and also refused to do the further treatment. How can a doctor be so negligent about their duties and the patient who is already suffering. He take hours to look the patient even if the patient die he doesn't care. I'm lodging a complaint against him in police station and also i will take him to the court. How could he be showing attitude to poor families. Doctor saves life they don't disrespect someone's weakness. Worse doctor ever.

My mother had Tumor in her lower abdomen. Dr. Debabrata Barmon and his team Dr. Kartik, Dr. Zoya, Dr. Neelam they all did a fantastic job. They treated her well and took a very good care of her throughout her treatment. We are and will always be thankful to them. Kudos to the team Thank you for bringing my maa back to normal life again

They take centuries to treat the patients and they are very rude to the patients and the people as well. Really poor management and I wonder why they are so ignorant. We had very high expectations for this hospital but the doctors and staffs are very unprofessional, ignorant and unpunctual. I really encourage people not to go to this hospital, speaking from experience.

DONT VISIT THIS HOSPITAL My friends never visit I lost my father my father died in this hospital I could not understand till the last moment who was the doctor looking my father There is many thing which I cannot explain I made the treatment of my father for the past 7 years but in different hospital I don't know why I brought my father here and I lost him no schedule of doctors they come and go I did not understand when at what time the doctor come I also cannot understand who was the doctor the test in the medicine the right is not easily available and neither they give information I love my father and I lost him hi beg you please don't visit this hospital and I will never visit here again and now I understand why most of the people of Assam go out for treatment I can see only nurse and sister but no doctors the only know to say patient to refer in another hospital my father was also a cancer patient they will never explain you what is going with the patient and the doctor will never explain you I have given the whole file all the previous treatment but they are not able to understand what is the problem with the patient going through they never explain the patient they don't give any importance they just come right medicine and go away before treatment they are very interested to get the signature of the attendant if anything happen in the future they are not responsible.
