A must visit place for bilaspurian for Planetarium. Ticket price 50 Rs. Right now crowed is very less, auditorium is good and park also good for kids.

Cons: 1. Audio system in the planetarium is poor. 2. Video quality is still same as it was 10years ago in other city planetariums 3. No drinking water facility. 4. No refreshments shops nearby 5. No professional management. They just collect ticket money 50INR just like parking money collection. No dedicated counter, no display of show timings and no proper security. 6. Even the play area is accessible only between 6pm to 8pm. They should keep the play area open at all times and keep the restriction on timings for the shows. 7. MOST IMPORTANTLY, THERE IS NO PHOTO OF DR. A.P.J ABDUL KALAM, EVEN THOUGH IT IS NAMED AFTER HIM BUT HAS UNNECESSARY PHOTOS. CHECK MY ATTACHED PHOTO. Pros: 1. Very spacious 2. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Planetarium is located in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India. It is the only and largest planetarium in the city and the state of Chhattisgarh. It was inaugurated in 2022. It is in Vyapar Vihar, Bilaspur. Top planetarium of Chhattisgarh in Bilaspur. Details of the show : 1. Show days : Monday to Sunday (everyday) 2. Show timings : 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. (afternoon to night) 3. List of shows : The Dark Matter Mystery, Dynamic Earth and more 4. Show ticket price : Rs50 per person 5. Weekly shows : New show is repeated weekly (Monday to Sunday) Note : The Planetarium (Tara Mandal) is for the general public. Everybody can visit here with family and watch shows. They can also do walking and spend time in the park. There is a canteen that has ice creams, chips and other edibles. There is a show every 30 minutes. Must visit place for those interested in science, space and geography. You can enjoy the 30 minutes stunning educational planetarium show with your family. Visit mostly in Sundays as it is more crowded.

March 2022, The shows are now on, though only Trials films are being shown for the time being. Here are a few pictures of the first show. There are ample facilities though there is definitely scope for betterment, so 4 stars for now.

Today people remove the parks to make buildings and houses. Children play on the road and they are unsafe. Trees are not planted around and this affects our environment badly. We must all have one park in an area and keep it clean and green very nice park i visited this park this Sunday.

One of the best places in bilaspur for morning walk, yoga, exercise. Also the planetarium shows of evening is nice one. One time must visit place.

This planetarium and its service is also very good. This planetarium has many huge collection of 1800 episodes and Every sunday episodes changed here . Price of one ticket is 50 rupees here. This is very good planetarium for students and children's and there was also a park and swings for children I am making you sure that your children's will love to visit this place .
