Dolphin View Point - Tourist attraction in Candolim - North Goa, India

We had a chance to go on a Dolphin view boat trip during our visit to Goa.. It was more of a boat ride rather a view trip to see the Dolphin. After 20 minutes of ride we could spot one baby Dolphin , probably it got separated from the group. And there were more than 5 boats including ours circle the poor animal for a better view.. We were under the impression that we could view them without disturbing their natural habitat. It was more of a multiple boats chasing them to have a view. Would never get into such activity in future and we felt we were intruding into there habitat and creating nuisance to them . We would rather prefer a simple boat ride rather end up cashing the poor animal.

Dolphin view point is the point situated near by lighthouse. You can select dolphin seeing ride and the boat will take you at that place. You can enjoy seeing dolphin all around. If There are so many boats at a time then you will not be able to see dolphin. It's a waiting game.

One can reach this place from Coco beach. Ferry / boats are there at a cost of 300 per person. The ride will take around 30 minutes. Morning time is the best to spot dolphins. You can get the beautiful view of aguada jail and the hill. The ride is joyful .

I am from Maharashtra I just visited in Goa with my friends. That was amazing. i really suggest you to visit in Goa. Because the nature and the Vibes of goa are next level.

Watched Dolphin's live for the first time. Children will really enjoy it. I call it a Dolphin safari.

I was initially sceptical after reading some of the reviews. I was expecting a dry, boring, sunny, tired trip. But we were completely surprised and amazed to see the dolphins. The boats, taking you through the shore views of palaces and forts. Then they are bringing you to the viewpoint. When one of the boat sighted dolphins, all the boats are rushing towards it, with full engine noise and then they shut off. So, the dolphins goes underwater. We all waitfor sometime, they resurfaced. Again same thing happened. The boatmen patiently goes around, till the tourists satisfactorily enjoys sighting of the dolphins, which we didn't expect. If the boat noise curtailed in anyway, the sighting would be easy and comfortable. The dolphins may surface often and in groups.
