Beautiful place. View of river and Maya vaishno devi hill also majestic. If someone visiting Jammu one must go this place to see and to know the old glory of Indian king of that time at J&K. Even though it lost many buildings and architecture but one can feel the same vive inside as it was once used by kings. Beautiful place and must see

This museum is nearly collection of 500 items some of them are truly beautiful...but the collection is random..with no timeline continuity and discription of context of any artifact...the infrastructure are s good with spacious exibition except there is no sitting arrangement...if u are man of culture and history lover must visit this place... Jammu city's only museum of its kind. it is a wonderful art museum lots of historical items are there the building is also attractive there is lots of coin collections printing sculptures artworks war equipments weapons at 17 ticket cost is also to low at hertie and staff for also so friendly definitely people get more about Dogra empire and the rulers it's a great place to explore and learn

A must visit to know better about the history and culture of Jammu division. The museum as a collection of Theological fugurines/Idols, Old Coins, Armoury, Manuscripts, Paintings ( Jammu/ Basohli schools). Parents must bring their young ones to visit this place.

It is inside the AmarMahal, the palace of kashmiri Raj pariwar. Gallaries are full of king's family photographs, old kashmir map and history. Another atraction is different kind of paintings. Dogra art and culture which was famous in early kashmir.

It's a wonderful art museum.Lots of historical items are their..The building is also so attractive.Their is lots of coin collections, painting, sculptures,art works,war equipments, weapons,etc.. Ticket cost is also too low.Authority and staffs are also so friendly.Definitely people gets more about Dogra empire and the rulers.it's a great place to explore and learn

The museum is home to a lot of sculptures, weaponry, traditional jewelleries, paintings, royal and religious memorabilia and artworks. A must visit if you're in Jammu. They allow taking limited number of photographs at the payment of some fees. As of the first week of February 2021, The other buildings here like the gol ghar and pink hall are shut off due to renovation. And there is a small well kept park in the middle of the premises.
