DOBANKI WATCH TOWER - Bird watching area in DOBANKI - 24 Paraganas South, India

Nice and Quite place, was told Chances to spot Tiger here but no success. This watch tower built near to manmade reservoir where Animals do visit for water or stay there. out of three watch tower this one is best cause of elevated walkway bridge, about 1 Km. walking experience is amazing seeing forest below the bridge, advisable to visit in low Tide time, chances would be high in Low tide to Spot animals on shore of islands and from watch tower, as well. Winter Dec / Jan is good time to visit.

Very good place. Full of greenery. There are a very good chance to observe wildlife. A complete silence situation is required to visit this place and observe wildlife. Among all towers of sundarbans this tower is the best. Nearly one and half km. walking experience within the fencing gives a beautiful experience.

This is a watch tower in the depths of Sunderbans. You will find a fenced walking area where you can see the life of Sunderbans from a height. From the watch tower, you can see a water pit where animals come to drink water. You can spot various types of Deers and birds and if lucky, you might get to see the Royal Bengal Tiger.

Beautiful place. Enjoyed the beauty of the nature. Well maintained place. Good guide was provided by forest department to explain about Sundarban forest. It was enjoyable. I will go again this place because very good arrangement provided by the tour operator with minimum cost. Easy to go from Sealdah/ Kolkata via Canning railway station. Road is also good.

Nice.. I just first time visit this type of area where we are in cage and animals are free.. really a good and exiting experience.. and the deer is so friendly..

Dabanki watch tower is a local sight seeing place of sundarban.. You have to hire boat to reach there.. Mobile tower will be unavailable here as you are going very close to the sea and far from locality... Deer.. Crab can be seen here.. Tiger also roam there but you will be very lucky if u see them..

We were here in Nov, 2022, you can find the review where I stayed. This is one of the sightseeing point, it's a kind of Skywalk which is caged. Though the experience will be thrilling, however, I am.not sure if you can see Royal Bengal Toger from here. Though we saw a Wild Boar & few Deers from here. There is WBFDC camp from.where you can buy Sundarban Tshirts & Few other Souvenirs from here Someone visting Sundarban, must visit this place from wherever you enter our Beautiful Sundarban.

It's an eye soothing wonderful place to visit. Deep green mangrove forests, rivers, wild animals, clean unpolluted environment... Eactly in the lap of mother nature.
