Mr. Mushtaq is very cooperative and professional. Peaceful surroundings with good home cooked food. We stayed in June 2023 for a week in the ground floor room. The room was spacious and the bedding was comfortable. Limited parking and availability of public transport are two minor constraints. Absolutely WFM. Go for it.
It was wonderful experience at Dilaram Guest House. We got homely feeling during our stay, Worth Mentioning, we reached kashmir late in night and found all restaurants were closed, but Mushtaq Bhai Owner of Villa, prepared food for us and that too after 10.30 PM, and the food was awesome and reminded us about our home. Comfortable and quite stay. Prices are very reasonable. Nice and friendly family with kids lives and manages the stay. Breakfast/Lunch/dinner is prepared and served to guests on prior notice. Owner also arranged an auto for my early morning for airport drop
Overall great experience. The host and family was very helpful and supportive. The host helped to arrange taxis and plan the trip. The food served was home cooked and delicious. You get a feeling of home. The host gives necessary warnings of the places we visit so that we can avoid unnecessary expenses. If you are visiting Srinagar i would highly recommend this place. Especially if you have planned the trip without any packages this is the place to be , because the host helps you in everything, compared to other stays there won't be any looting.
We really enjoyed our stay at Dilaram guest house. The hosts Mushtaq uncle and his wife were very warm and hospitable. The food is amazing. We travelled with our 2 kids and the big rooms and garden were great for them to run around and relax. The view of the mountains from the window just make your stay all the more delightful. Plus you actually got to stay in a Kashmiri house. Overall a very good experience and I would highly recommend it.
Close to Dal lake but away from the hustle bustle. If you want a calm time solo or with family, this is the place. Superb hospitality and fantastic food.. home away from home.
