Dhanvantri Ground - Playground in Jamnagar - Jamnagar, India

It was soo good. As usually I go to dhanwantari ground for running and exercises. All of the people go for exercise too. And in dhanwantari ground kid usually go for playing many sports games like - cricket, football,kho-kho etc.

Nature at its best..... Walking at 6 am gives u feel of being in a hill station and the cold air makes your mood good... The freshness in atmosphere gives you very good vibes... The walking track is of 390m and not only walking people come here for exercise and playing football or cricket... Cycling also would be fun here... And the various species of plants with there botanical names on sign boad makes us gain the knowledge too ...

Good place for morning and evening walk with minimum vehicular traffic to disturb. And yes there's lots of greenery all around.

This is a ground in the campus of ITRA, meant for promoting and facilitating the activities like outdoor sports and games basically in the students and staff of the Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (ITRA). Previously, it used to be under the control of Gujarat Ayurved University. It is a wonderful open space, of approximately 2 acres, right in the heart of the city and people often use it as an evening strolling spot or as a morning walk track. It also becomes a training place and playground for school children and upcoming sport persons of the city during early morning and evening hours. Many tournaments of local level and Governent hosted sports programmes are organized here, though it does not have a pavilion or other basic facilities needed to be termed as a sports ground in a strict sense. The only drawback of this ground is that if there is a heavy rain, the water gets logged, filling the ground and remains there till absorbed by the earth, making it useless for its purpose. Recently the work of renovating the compound wall is in progress to secure the premises and give it a face lift aesthetically.

Best place for cricket but sometimes difficult to know own ball

I have been attending the tapovan here for Ayurvedic Garbhasanskar sessions. It is an unmatchable and once in a lifetime experience. It is very much recommended by me to every pregnant women to truely give it a try. They have a complete package of all the activities one must do during the course of her pregnancy in order to ensure her and child's health. Activites like prayers, knitting, baby shoe making , healing music , important information , pre natal and post natal care is provided by them . All of these facilities, activities and information is available for at negligible charges . It is a great service they are doing for the citizens. You must visit it once and experience it.

It's a ground of Jamnagar ayurved University. The ground is not much big but big enough to play games like cricket and football. There is also arrangement for volleyball and long jump. People go there in the morning to exercise and jogging. Night tournaments of tennis ball cricket are held here

Heaven for youth Regular running or jogging offers many health benefits. Running can: help to build strong bones, as it is a weight bearing exercise strengthen muscles improve cardiovascular fitness burn plenty of kilojoules help maintain a healthy weight.
