We started our Belparahri sightseeing at this location, tucked away 12 km from Belparahri. On the way from Belparahri to kaaNkrraajhor we took left trun to reach this place.
It is view point covered with hillocks around and deep jungle. We noticed local people engaged in hand crafted artifacts.
Views around were mesmerizing and we started to take down trial to reach Dungri waterfall flowing down the hill.
The falls is beautiful and becomes more alluring during monsoon. But the trail which takes you to the falls is little steep and the elderly people may find it difficult to go the viewpoint. If any one intends to visit the place should opt for monsoon .
Jhargram has no view points at all , only a less crowded place to spend weekend far from city noise . Due to less rain the place was not as awesome as it seems .
Mini jharna but in monsoon time it might be more beautiful.
Beautiful scenery can be seen only in rainy season.. otherwise you maybe can't find any waterfall... If you want to purchase stone plates from the local shop then you should bargain and start from half of the MRP..
The is small spring that takes its complete shape in monsoon and autumn. In other seasons the flow of water decreases. The place is surrounded by deep green woods. It is also a must watch in Belpahari tour package. Idols of Deities made of stone created by the local artisans are also available here.
Dhangikusum is nearly 55 km from Jhargram Town and situated barely 100 metres from the Jharkhand border. The smooth and well maintained road that passes through Burisole forest is another attraction that drives tourists to visit Jhargram. The road connects Dhangikusum via Silda and Belpahari till the road takes one to a hill top where the metal road ends. One needs to trek for around five minutes to reach the waterfall.
I went there at winter time. There was not weter in the falls as expected. But nature is awesome. If you go to dhangikushum only to see waterfalls, then you will be disappointed at winter time. But if you want enjoy nature them must come here.
rainy season is best for falls view. Winter is best for picnic and enjoy nature. To see full belpahari tour video check my youtube channel "Silent Blogger"
