Visited the hospital for the first time for an eye condition consultation. The registration and optometry was quick and efficient. Consulted with Dr. Jyothi Prabha. Found her very professional and she explained the tests and results very well. The hospital itself was very clean and well maintained. Overall very satisfactory consultation and visit.
Then very best experience at the hospital (HSR Layout branch) for the treatment undergone by mother-in-law. She has to undergo cataract operations in both the eyes at the interval of one week. The treating doctor explained the course of treatment completely and why the relevant tests are required. This creates confidence among us w.r.t. treatment. The treatment cost is somewhat economical comparing with other hospitals and of course the operation was covered under insurance and the discharge happened without hassles. This is one of the reason my mother-in-law has undergone the treatment here in Bangalore instead of Chennai. We are completely satisfied.
There are very few hospitals that still have the mentality of treating patients first and money next. I am checking here regularly from 2015 and the service standards have not dropped they actually have upgraded a lot of systems as well. They have proper facilities for parking although the parking space is little small which can acclimate 10 wheelers and 5 four wheelers maximum. They used to charge 300 before covid for consultation now they are charging 500 per consultation. There are few benefits once you do consultation that is valid for 15 days any further assistance within 15 days It's not chargeable.

Although the hospital does not accept appointment reservations, the first-come, first-served basis seems to work well. The doctors and staff were polite, professional, and helpful, taking the time to explain to us my dad's case in detail. It's also convenient that the hospital has a pharmacy and eyewear shop on-site, making it easier for patients to access the necessary medications and eyewear.
