I recently stayed here with my family and had a wonderful time. The resort is beautiful, well maintained and the rooms are spacious and clean. The owner and the staff make you feel as though you are part of the family. The location of the resort is right across the street from the beach and within walking distance to many restaurants. The breakfast buffet that was offered at the resort offered many different selections and of course the omelette station was my personal favorite. I would definitely recommend this resort as either a family vacation or a yoga retreat holiday! A big thank you to Chandra and his staff for making this a vacation to remember for our first time in India!

Amazing wellness centre, right by the beach and with two lovely pools. Staff were lovely - we arrived early and were able to go to our apartment before the usual check in time. Breakfast and dinner buffets were good, with a mix of both Indian and European food. Definitely worth getting a massage on site whilst you're there! :)

It's dreamy place! I have came to Devarya wellness for my belly dance retreat where we will be spending 6 days to dance, learn and transform. The best thing about place is it's simplicity and how they have kept it so clean and green with beautiful flowers. They have great facilities for yoga and meditation, our session were taken Agyat and I really enjoyed it. Place gives you a positive vibes and I appreciate the great hospitality, Cheers to Dhruv and his team who were always helpful and approachable. Beach is 200 m away from their restaurant, so morning and evening lot of sea time. I definitely recommend to people who love nature and try to escape from busy city live. There are areas like food where they can improve but rest of it was wonderful and I really enjoyed the time spent during my retreat.

Hyped yoga retreat with minimal amenities, away from the sea (NO SEA FACING / ON THE BEACH ROOMS) Facilities: - Spacious rooms with minimal amenities - No television in the room - No telephone in the room, to contact reception - No WiFi in the room. It's available only in the lobby area - No mobile network coverage (Airtel, Jio, Vodafone) in the room - No room service. Outside food isn't allowed either. Breakfast starts late - by 9 AM - Only basic toiletries available (towel & soap). Additional items like toothbrush, paste or shampoo aren't available, even on request - Bathroom doesn't have any exhaust fan - Pool timings are 8 AM to 6 PM only - The restaurant is small, dimly lit, over-priced with only vegetarian and egg options. - All the rooms are built in such a way that they are much cooler compared to outside temperature - The Royal Villa had king sized comfortable bed. Junior chakra room seemed to have a standard queen sized bed - We experienced frequent power outages in the area, lasting from few minutes to over an hour at times. This resort doesn't have any power backup for those times. - Masala tea and hot ginger water is available by 7:00 - 7:30 near pools. There's no coffee though Observations/Issues: - The location is misleading on the website and in the photos. The property is on one side of a road, *near* the beach. The sea is on the other side. Only their restaurant is "by the beach". None of the rooms or stay options are sea facing. Their location on Google maps is also mis-leading. They've tagged the restaurant as the entire property, confusing people to think, it's a beach property! - Service is slow both at the hotel and the restaurant. A request for fresh towels took 2 reminders and 3 hours to fulfill - The room we were allotted upon check-in was very damp and dusty. When we asked them to clean it up, they claimed it had been cleaned today and everything was in order. After some more convincing, they agreed to clean it up again. - The "free yoga class" mentioned on the website is very misleading. They have group "activities" organized at 8, that "maybe" yoga, once a week. Other activities include Vedic chanting, keertan and so on. There are many days, when no activities are conducted at all (when we stayed, there were free activities only for 3 days that week). Additional classes may be taken at an added cost (for eg. Yoga classes start at an exorbitant INR 500/- per class) - On the first night, when we returned from dinner, there was no electricity in our section of hotel. We informed reception about it. The attendant there was busy arguing with a couple of foreigners, who were complaining of being overcharged. It took them about 30 minutes to call the "electrician" to get the power back on in the building. This issue again repeated the next day where the staff took 2 hours to take cognizance and finally moved us to another room citing electrical issues that may keep recurring. - the pool is not cleaned regularly (we went for a swim in the mornings and residue from last night would be afloat) - Geyser in bathrooms is small and insufficient even for a single person to shower properly - In Royal Villa, bathroom walls kept dripping water all the time, making the corners perpetually wet - The Royal Villa had very dim lighting, even when all the available lights were turned on. Sometimes it was difficult to see things inside! - Most of their patrons are foreigners. So we were surprised to notice that most of the staff barely knew any English - Our experience over 5 days clearly showed that staff prioritized foreign guests over Indians. Our requests took longer time and required multiple follow ups - Check out time is quiet early (10 AM). Relatively breakfast buffet itself goes from 9 AM to 11 AM!

Perfect place to rejuvenate. Feel of nature and luxury is very well imbibed resulting in calming down the tired mind. Staff and management is caring and very accommodating. Two big swimming pools completely satisfy all the age groups and everyone enjoys the swim with no hindrance. Beach is just across the street and best eateries, shacks are around the resort, no vehicle required as all these spots are at a walkable distance. My 5 year old enjoyed the stay at DevArya and stayed away from screen during our 4 days stay. Food is awesome and catering staff took special care of kids demand. Visit the place and experience the richness of DevArya'a serene beauty. No doubt why foreign tourists like this place. All the Best to Team DevArya!!

I had visited Devarya Wellness with my mother for 2 nights. We had a great experience staying there. The place is very well equipped and is just beside the Morjim Beach! Apart from that you can also join the Yoga classes to detox your body and be energised. The housekeeping team took very good care of my mother. Would like to give special mention to Mr Chandra who made me and my mother's stay excellent. This property also has two beautiful pools and two Yogashala and also Spa facilities. Highly recommended for people who are seeking peace and tranquility.
