This is an over-hyped pooja Pandal.
Making too long queue unnecessarily.
There are many more better pandals than this one. But they have made such arrangements that one will have to go through this one.
There is enough space but I don't know why it is a spiral. There is not that much crowd but the management has made the crowd unnecessarily..

I don't know for what reason Deshapriya Park was not hyped by any news channel..It was a cloudy evening when I entered the pandal.. I can't even explain how amazed I was. The pandal was a "Bell shaped" structure, the lights were making it look more beautiful. Interior was more beautiful(as you can see in the pictures)... Each and every detailing was eye catching. I literally stood there for 10 mins (roaming this corner to that corner as volunteers were not allowing me to stand at a place peacefully) .. But I absorbed the beauty as much as I could. Overall I was very satisfied
Situated about 600m from Kalighat Metro Station, Despriyo Park is one of the most popular Durgapuja. Also, the ground is so big that it never makes you feel overcrowded during Durgapuja.
One of the very famous Durga Puja of Kolkata is hosted here. A nice and spacious park as well!
This is located in south Kolkata. You can visit this pandal from Ballygunge railway station or from Gariahat Crossing or Kalighat metro. Hyped Durga Puja in south Kolkata. Crowd is huge but the waiting line is too long.

But the pandal doesn't seems very much attractive in the morning which creates unnecessary crowd in the evening.

This is my 2nd best durga puja pandal this year (2023). The pandal was very big, u could see the pandal from the entry gate with clarity. Th idol of maa durga was impressive too inside the pandal. Worth to visit at least once for sure
Deshopriyo Park does good Durga Puja every year but this year their Puja was not very good if you compare it with other south Kolkata pujo's. Still you can visit it and take Maa Durga's dharshan. Uploading a few pics of the pandal.
